No, it's just urban folklore. Coaches get fired all the time without any adultry involved. I have heard it's everyone's wife in the whole Sabres organization from the GM's to the owner's that he did the mattress mambo with, so I know it's just talk.
If someone wants to say otherwise they should come up with some proof (a guy told me in a bar doesn't count), or STFU. This whole story is as lame as the Elvis Stolko beating up Eric Lindros with his kung-fu skills stories. One week Elvis punched out Eric in Whistler, the next week Elvis beats up Eric in Muskoka, just like Nolan was screwing the owner's daughter, the trainer's wife, Mrs. Hasek ..blah..blah..blah..
