sometime time back I asked a personal question and was literally given the brickbats....if we don't want to be nice to some that's fine...but why be nasty? I just fail to understand...are we living in a world that is so mean?

I have to agree, I think some come here to get points, Like the points make you important...Like someone said some on here have no life or just kiddos and this is used as a babysitter....so im sure alot of questions are answered by kids or some very immature adults....The world is as mean as we humans make it...Most of all you could never expect anything seroius on yahoo anyway. Its like in the chat rooms most are fake as hell and 90 percent are married. So if there mean or make fun of you look upon it as I do, its only yahoo and a faceless person behind a computer that you will probally never meet in two lifetimes.....

Because there are a ton of people wasting their lives away online and are unhappy about it... so basically, instead of giving a sincere, educated response to your question(s) they'd rather take it out on you.
Yahoo! Answers should require a certain IQ level for users to sign up.

People think if someone lives differently than them then they're wrong and that
people that are mean don't like themselves let alone anyone else.
Self rightous attitudes and most think they're better than anyone.
This is why people blame the poor for thier situation instead of trying to help.

You said it in a nutshell.Yes we are living in a time where love,compassion,and true friendship slipped between the cracks of hatred,rage,envy,and no love for thy neighbor.I pray the Lord to come quickly because society has definitly gone crazy!God bless:O)

because some people on here don't care about actually giving you a legitamate answer. rather, they just want to accrue points. comes with asking a question on here. just look at those as "junk mail" or "pop ups". ignore em'
