If Jesus' miracles, performed in the bible, prooved that he is God, then why must we still need FAITH, to believe in him?

Why did he not prove that he is God in a way that is definitive and scientifically provable -- for example, by moving a mountain?

If he didn't then Jesus DID NOT ever prove that he is God did he?

why isn't there any scientific proof? There were many false prophets turning water into wine back then as well....

Jesus never claimed to be God, just the son of God.

And every religion has its own ways of explaining a point/s, don't pick holes in them, if you don't understand them.

I am not Christian, or Jew or Muslim

If we need scientific proof to believe then what is the worth of believing. I can't speak for God, but I don't think that God wants us to simply believe in religion like we believe in the American Revolution or in the Water Cycle. Belief and faith is more special than history and science. I don't really know why but I believe in the triune God. And I believe Jesus is part of that trinity.

It is for US to prove He is God. He KNOWS who He is. Do you know what a paradox is? It's something that's true; and, at the same time, is not true. Jesus was God; but, He was NOT God. It's as though he were a microphone. Sometimes in the same sentence He would speak as Jesus, then, as God. In the 3rd person, then, in the 1st person. His followers asked Him, "Art thou good?" He answered, "None is good; but, my Father, who is in heaven." He, Himself said God was other than Him. BUT, when he spoke as God, He became the microphone. The words came, not from Jesus, but from the Holy Spirit--God, who was within Him. God doesn't ascend and/or descend, He remains, eternally, in His Heaven. The same can be said of the other Manifestations of God. They WERE; but, they were NOT God.

Einstein, one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, scientist believed in God.

Jesus tells us if we have the faith, even as small as a mustard seed, we could move mountains. WE, not HIM! The problem is, it requires 100% faith. I think most of us have a hard time digging up even 50% faith; so, as a result, we end up with 50% result.

It is for us to prove--not to anyone else--only to ourselves whether or not He was God. As you are doing it. (Congratulations.) By independently investigating the truth. Don't believe what any of us say. Independently investigate the truth of Jesus' claim, by reading, in this order, the Bhagavad-Gita, the Torah (or the Old Testament), the New Testament, the Koran, the Bayan and the Baha'i Writings. You will find they are succeeding chapters which constitute the One Holy Book of God, which has no beginning and no ending--the Baha'i Writings (www.bahai.com) being only the most recent chapter in the One Holy Book of God. No one can ever prove this to you. It can only be your own proof to your own self. What a trip that investigation is! It is LIFE-CHANGing!

God bless you and your wonderful questions.

Jesus is not God...He is the mortal coil of God, his human son. Jesus did not perform miracles, God performed miracles through him. Jesus was here to tell us of God's love, and to teach us to have faith. His death and ultimate resurrection was a lesson to us of God's power and mercy...and the danger involved in living in this world without the belief in all things good. there is so much darkness in the world, faith is our light

Moses did miracles, but he wasn't God.
Elijah did miracles, but he wasn't God.
So then in keeping to biblical proofs, Jesus did miracles, but he wasn't God.

No where in scripture does it state he was God, nor that the miracles he did prove he was God. Any and all teachings that states he was God through miracles or whatever is simply Church doctrines, therefore not of God.

Thanks For Your Question

Well it Is clear in Quraan God says : The Messiah (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

and in the Bible Jesus never claimed divinity and never said "Worship me! " or "I am God" infact he said

"My Father is Greater than I"
"My Father is Greater than all"

JESUS often prayed to God, whom he called Father, and he also taught others to do so. (Matthew 6:9-11; Luke 11:1, 2) In prayer with his apostles—only hours before his death—Jesus petitioned: “Father, the hour has come; glorify your son, that your son may glorify you. This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”—John 17:1, 3.

Jesus did so many great works that the world could not contain the books if it were all written down. But we have enough to obtain salvation.

Without faith, miracles appear as tricks. Those who believe require no proof and those who don't will not see the proof. Peace.
