Why do men my age yearn for women 1/2 my age? I'm not that bad to look at yet i see DOGS out there with men all over them. Im independent and dont NEED a man(or woman for that matter) and I think that may be the problem. What do you think?

Maybe you come across as self-sufficent and assertive. Many older guys are looking for a young impressionable woman

i suppose that's possible. maybe your independence scares them off.....maybe you are coming off as "hard" if you know what i mean and the prospect of trying to date you may seem like more than what they have in mind. try to relax a little and bring down that brick wall a few feet. smile a lot....it's intoxicating. you know i checked out this website before that had all these posts on the topic of "do men prefer older or younger women" and surprisingly 8 out of 10 said they preferred older. i always thought they preferred younger....just like you. i challenged them all to answer the question of why then do they leave their wives for younger women but no one answered! go figure. but anyway, i guess what i am trying to say is maybe you're just in a rut for now. but he's out there..............good luck.

not needing one and not wanting one r 2 different things. so if a younger guy liked u would that be so bad. independance is cool, but don't sell all guys short.
