I hate him for it!!!!

He and the majority of other government officials are all a bunch of pansies! Since the illegals all want their way, they pull the race card. The government, Bush, and the majority of white people are scared of looking racist so they don't and won't stand up and stop it. What they are doing is ILLEGAL. They are destroying our country as we know it. Our children are being forced to learn Spanish in schools and preschools because the ones who flock here can't speak English so we continue to cater to them...BS! Our hospitals are being overcrowded because they use our ER's as a doctors office so people who are really sick and in need of care must wait hours before actually receiving it. Our welfare, education grants/aid, etc. is being milked and depleted. These jerks even get our Social Security now! Why is it that younger American's starting out can't afford a house now? 10+ of these illegals live together and have driven up housing prices. With them flocking over here and buying lots of homes, it has virtually destroyed our chances of getting one. What really irks me is the fact that people say the illegals are doing jobs that American's won't do.... Well, who did them before they came here? Why won't businesses actually pay an American what they need to survive? Oh and the funniest part is, soon, they will be taking over white collar jobs as well. They are already flooding colleges (mostly for free I might add)...they will get degrees. Where do you think they will go next? The crime is rampid. The gangs, the drugs, rapes, etc. I can go on forever. Just think of LA. That's what all of our cities will look like soon if this continues and they are not deported.

People who support these illegals, are stupid and destroying the American dream for Americans.

He caved. Once again, the ruling class feels no real obligation to carry out the wishes of the majority of the masses. This problem has been growing for decades. When you are the rich neighbor of a third world s***hole like our neighbor to the south, and you just leave the house unlocked, why be surprised when you find your neighbors with their feet under your table when you come home.

I think it could have been handled a lot better. We needed the wall up along ago. We need t have armed US troops patrolling the border and since the illegals pose a threat to national security, we need to also have the Department of Homeland Security and the military going after them and rounding them up and deporting them.

By the way, I also just reported the fake one for impersonation.

DEPORT ILLEGAL ALIENS

ENGLISH ONLY IN AMERICA

This is not a new problem. It has been around for decades. The media uses this topic to keep your mind off the important topics. It works.

I think it's a matter of realizing that even the GOP's favorite prez still thinks in terms of trying to grow the country.

Mexicans tend to have some very positive attributes, from the GOP perspective...a lot of em go to church, a lot of em have kids,
that's a future right-wing constituency right there, and they've got family values, and frankly, that's the kind of people Bush likes.
Great. We'll be a nation of spanish-speaking catholics. How nice. Won't the Vatican be proud? LOL But, not all catholics end up as saints, either, witness the east coast irish catholic mafia and their socio-economic hijinx through the years. At least the irish spoke english...and frankly, speaking as a Heathen, I don't relish the upturn in sanctimonious government. I've always felt that your freedom, your liberty to walk unmolested/contested down the highway of life without having to worry about this or that religious or political group trying to drag you into their own custom insanity is a Great Thing. And yes, the Vatican would LOVE to see the border dropped.More remittances for the Church! LOL Church, Inc. The latest entry in the race for the soul(and wallet) of america...well, we've seen what organized religion can do for other countries, why not have it in america? Because we've got a stipulation in our founding documents that says our form of government is barred BY LAW from playing favorites in the world of religion. I don't go to church, I don't burn goats, I don't beat my head on a rug. I DO believe in the right of americans to be free of delusional idiots with grandiose plans for social engineering on a Large Scale, which is what the whole post-NAFTA poodle circus represents to me. Mexico's a hole, they need money, and easing the border laws has allowed a lot of people into the United States. A LOT of people. Like, a big bunch, and stuff. Predominantly, the 'newcomers' speak spanish.
That's because predominantly, they're from Mexico. Increasingly, it appears to me at least that americans, regardless of ethnicity, are getting concerned about the bum's rush influx. I think we've been deliberately misinformed on the issue, the true scale and scope of what's at work here is truly astounding, it's what you'd call a 'megatrend', and those are usually the kind of things you're just left trying to figure out how to cope with.

I think Bush has had a poor showing on immigration, I think his own party's going 'hey, buddy, waitaminute, here', there's trying to help and then there's realizing that you can only take in so many people in your house before chaos ensues. Running Mexico full-tilt into the existing population of the United States doesn't sound like a very palatable domestic policy, to me...
I don't think it'll KILL our country, but it bears keeping in mind that the more debt you hang out there, the worse it'll be for you come payday, and at the end of the day some things can't be re-purchased, like livability. Remember the old phrase 'there goes the neighborhood'? That didn't materialize out of thin air. That's a description of what happens when your area starts heading downhill with a vengeance. And, that's what happens when you introduce a lot of people with no money into a given area.
You'll find that even among people that don't have a lot of money, there's still some basic pride they take in what goes on around them, and some areas that have seen a huge influx from Mexico have been hit pretty hard with increasing crime, drug trade, theft, and so forth. You got your haves, and your have-nots. Most of your 'haves' don't really have that much to start with, and your have-nots will be happy to take anything not nailed down, and inevitably some of the things that used to be nailed down.
Is Bush going to stand to lose much? No. He's part of the economic strata that pays people to pay people to pay people to keep an eye on the mexicans etc. HIS car won't get broken into.
HIS neighborhood won't have cop cars at 3AM. And, that's the disconnect, here. You want to try and preserve livability EVERYWHERE in america, which means that the immigration laws, which are there for that reason, need to be followed, and enforced.

There's other, less harmful ways for our country to help others, ways that don't result in the american quality of life, such as it is, from being degraded by in-filling places with illegal immigrants.
That's social engineering, politicians crack-pipe dreams,
and mainly I think americans want to be left the hell alone to live out their own lives in peace. That IS more or less what we pay taxes for, and so forth, maybe it's time to ask politicians to stop counting future unpaid tax revenues and focus on the here-and-now. Let people live their own lives, and when other countries come knocking and it becomes pretty obvious that they're after the deed to the ranch, send em packing and tell em to solve their own problems. Our political system needs to have more integrity in the face of temptation and pressure from foreign countries. That's my view on it...
