Although traumatizing, you'll eventually get over it... It happened to me and it was a vision that blinded me for a while, but I got over it and you will too! It's natural and one day it may happen to you, (hopefully not)

Actually, while the experience was bad for you, sex is actually a great sign that they are still in love with each other, and that they have a healthy relationship, because when things aren't working out, sex is usually the first thing to go. Just make sure to knock on the door before going into their room, or if it wasn't in their room, ask them for some warning. Make sure they know where you are going with friends and when you expect to be home so they can plan accordingly. Believe me, they don't like being walked in on any more than you like walking in.

Not to worry you but you'll be scarred for the rest of your life and it will be scary to you now but think of it this way when you get older you can hold that over their heads forever or you'll wake up screaming every night until you die. Good luck with that.

Next time--knock!
Parents are people too--with emotions, desires etc like everyone else.
Be grateful that you witnessed sex in the best possible relationship--between a man and woman committed to one another in marriage.
It should be more scary if your parents do not share a special intimacy with one another.

You can't unring a bell. Sorry that happened to you all, but it's not the end of the world. Just put it behind you. This is very common sorry to say.
