my friend is getting involved with this guy. but she tells me that she doesnt like him, and then i hear from him that she says she does like him. i just want to know why she won't tell me the truth or tell him the truth?

maybe your friend is scared that you wont like him...or that you really like him, sometimes friends do that, maybe try getting them together to talk about it, and see whats up?

1.) She's using him for sex. She's just leading him on until she gets bored with him and then will move on.
2.) She really does like him, but is embarrassed by him for some reason. She doesn't want to admit that she likes him so much because he's not good looking enough, isn't popular with your other friends, etc.
3.) Either way, it's her gig. I would let her do her thing and you'll learn the truth soon enough.

How do you know he's telling you the truth? Just forget it and don't get caught up in their game.

she might not be telling you the truth because she is afraid of what you are gonna say...
OR
she's not telling him the truth because she wants to lead you on...

Sounds to me like she has issues or likes to play head games. Since I can't stand ppl like that, I'd have to cut her off as a friend.

It depends on how she acts when she's talking about it. Sounds to me like she would like him more if she thought you liked him, too. That's an old mind game envented waaaaaaaay back...lol

maybe she is afraid that you might turn away from her after learning that she is dating with the guy. Maybe the guy is way below your expectation.
