There have been stories of dogs going thousands of miles to find their way home. But if you have a lost dog you may still want to dispatch some human help in the form of fliers,or checking the pound to make sure your pet did not get stopped on the way home.

Yes, they have a great GPS system built right in. However, they can get caught by the pound so contact them to let them know you've lost your dog.

Doesn't LOST mean by defenition that they can't find their way home? If they happen to walk past it, they will recognize it, but aside from that, go searching!
