We are here on earth for a short time to prepare for our eternal lives. The earth is both a dwelling place and a testing place for us. We have agency to make choices, and our life on earth is a time when we are tried to see if we will use our agency to do God's will (make the right choices!)
It is also a time when we gain bodies, live in families, and experience joy as we follow Heavenly Father's plan for us.
We are accountable for how we take care of our bodies and how we use our agency.
There are also ordinances we can receive that will help us; baptism, confirmation, appropriate marriage, etc.
Ultimately---we are here so we can progress and become more like our Heavenly Father!
