well first get a flash light and check the eggs for any embryos. if you see any baby chicks in there, don't eat it. if you don't then by no means eat it. Its only eggs. I used to have a pet miniature chicken, and she laid a couple of eggs, i mean my mother said that it might contain chicks in them, but when i checked there were none. the hen needs a rooster to fertilize its eggs in order for it to have baby chicks in the egg. if there is no rooster around the eggs become unfertilizedd eggs that you make ...well...eggs out of.
Its silly to say eating eggs is eating baby chick. a women menstruate every month shedding the uterus linings and the unfertilize egg. Does this mean she is killing baby humans.. i don't think so. So its the same with the chickens.
I understand if you don't want to eat eggs because of how some farmers treat the animals.

If so, relax. Eggs sold commercially (in the market) are not fertile and would never grow into chicks.
