That is exactly what is wrong with christianity, saying that someone died for your sins which you commited and are likely to commit in the future is wrong. Its like a license to commit more. People are likely to commit more and more and just say they've accepted jesus so they are saved. We all have a brain and should use it to think. Personally the karma theory makes more sense to me. Thats exactly why u'd find 85% of prison inmates are christians.

"How shall we--such as we--who have died to sin still live in it?" Romans 6:2. The idea here is that something fundamental about us has changed. We "cannot sin" (1 John 3:9) in the old way. Commit sins--yes, but we can never be sinners from the heart anymore if we have truly entered into a faith relationship with Jesus. So, it's more than having your sins "paid for". It is that the sinner himself dies with Christ on the cross (Galatians 2:20).

The penalty for sinning is death. Rom. 6:23. Jesus paid for our sins to bring us back to a way of life where we don't sin. Sin is the breaking of Gods laws. 1st John 3:4. (the 10 commandments) You will sin because you're not perfect but you are not to practice this way of life. When we do we are making a mockery of the death of Jesus Christ.
If the judge lets you off with a warning for speeding are you going to be dumb enough to speed again & think because of grace he'll just keep letting you off. Grace is not a license to sin.

Jesus paid the price for our unique sin that's insurrection. this does no longer advise besides the undeniable fact that that we received't be taken in by utilizing our temptations. even as this happens for sure we can gain what we've sewn. If we do not struggle through consequences then we can imagine that that is okay to sin and could proceed to take action. this can finally carry us back to that first sin of insurrection. insurrection leads to stubbornness and delight.those are features that the Lord hates maximum of all. Sin leads to lack of life that's merely right separation from God. He does no longer want us to be separated by utilizing Him and so He has positioned that regulation in result that we could consistently gain what we stitch. it really is for our own strong. same to a new child would get reprimanded we could also struggle through an same reprimand. thanks and God Bless. :)

I enjoy sinning and I'm quite good at it. I will not let Jesus die in vain. Every time I sin it validates Jesus. I hope he appreciates fornication. ( I've done a lot of that lately.) So sin as much as you can and don't let Jesus get "nailed" for nothing!!!!!!!

that depends on what you mean by 'can't'
WE are capable of sinning even after we accept Jesus as our lord and saviour because we are born sinners.
AS to the conundrum of 'do we sin because we are sinners or are we sinners because we sin?'
we are born sinners so we will be sinful creatures till the day we die - which is why we need Jesus who was sinless to make up the shortfall on our behalf - not just once and for all but daily.
but to deliberately continue sinning means that the death of Jesus and your repentance isn't enough for you - hence we are told that once we have accepted Jesus as our saviour that we endeavor to change our ways from our former sinful ways

If the Jesus myth was true, he paid the price for all sin.
Which means it is unnecessary to do anything since sin no longer has any consequences.
But, it is a myth.

Paying for your sins could be thought of as Jesus paying for your car just because its paid for doesn't mean you can crash it whenever you want and then again why would you want to?

See Jesus paid for our sin as u said.
So, its like this. He has paid for u earlier but now u r alone, nobody is there to pay for you.
eg. u n jesus went to a resturant. he was with u for some time n dined with u. while leaving he setteled the bill nu thanked him. So now if u order anything more, why the hell is he going to pay for it? he is gone. so if u eat u pay. other wise dont eat dont pay. LOOK FOR JESUS U MIGHT FIND HIM AGAIN N HE WILL PAY FOR U AGAIN.

We can and we do.
However, if we want to be saved in God's eternal kingdom where peace reigns, we need to be safe to take there. Sinning is hurting someone else, or disrespecting God. Jesus saves us FROM our sins, not IN our sins.
