How can we as a society blindly teach our children to believe the bible to be factual without evidence and never question why dinosaurs are never mentioned in it even though it's undeniable that they existed?

The bible is used as the source of all truth by 'christians' but there are few other sources of correlating information. Consequently the reliability of the information in it is suspecft to say the least.

Many of the sories have been stolen from other religions makes it doubtful as is the fact that nothing is written of Jesus outside the bible.

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is not a history of dinosaurs or of the world as a whole. It is the revelation of God to His people. Most of what is contained in it is historically correct but it is meant to reveal God to His people. All of the New Testament is hidden in the Old and the Old is revealed in the New. Without understanding the life of Christ we can not have a proper perspective of what the Word of God is trying to teach us. Everything has to be filtered through the teachings of Jesus Christ to be understood. Without Jesus' teachings, we will never understand the complete picture.

God bless you,

Most mythologies teach moral lessons and standards to live by. For this they are useful for teaching children (regardless of which religions myths are taught as long as it teaches the values you want your children to learn). As children get older they are taught to tell the difference between fact and fiction. It is at this time that they will learn that these myths are historically untrue, but hopefully by then they will understand the purpose of the myths (ie. a tool to understand and develop a relationship with ones deity/ies and to learn basic morals of their society/family)

The Holy Bible is true history and not bedtime stories. God created all animals and everything in and around our world.

You must think for yourself and derive the truth from it. The Bible is undoubtely a combo of both moral truths and history that may/probably been twisted by man.

it doesnt matter if they are real or fake. its wut we believe in that matters. religion i all based on beliefs. and these beliefs become a basis for many peoples lives. true there are plenty of things in the bible that cant be proven. but there is no evidence to prove them wrong either. if u look at it, the bible, whether it was created by God or man, basic human life revolves around it. The Koran, The Christian Bible, The Jewish holy book..these books, whether they are fact or fiction teach us morals. for example, the laws we have are influenced by the teachings of the holy book. Thou shal not kill, thou shall not steal...these are all basic. it doesnt matter if the stories are real or fake...the book exist to help reinforce wut we teach our children. Sure you can teach ur child to not steal. but actually reading it from somewhere to ur child helps reinforce the fact that it is wrong. its like wut the Pharoh sed..."It shall be wriiten, It shall be done"

The bible has far more problems than dinosaurs. It is a book of mythology and should be treated as such.

Allegory can convey truth beyond facts, Holy Bible notwithstanding.
P.S.-The masses need control.
