Being Mormon means that you believe in Christ but being called mormon is just a kickname. Jehovah means Jesus. The Jehovah witness and Mormons believe that Jesus and Our father are two different people. I believe you think the same way. You believe I think that Jesus was just a prophet. The mormons believe that Jesus was the savior of the world and he was also Jehovah of the old testament.

I just want to say to those that make fun of either religion are bigots! If people are so called Christians then they will teach love and teach no more war. This unfortunatly something that can't ge t through their heads. These are the same people I see think its ok to have slaves because they are so called Christians. I am say this because I am tired to of being pushed around and I will debate with anyone.

Sorry I know you didn't want this part but I am just so mad how stupid AMERICANS can be.

I think you mean Jehovah's Witnesses. But you didn't spell anything wrong.

The JW's are a sect that was founded back in the 1800's. They don't believe that Jesus is Almighty God. but they do believe that he is a mighty god. Notice that they are saying their is two god's? The bible clearly Say's that we have one God, but they are claiming at least two.
Jehovah is the name of God, but this is an English translation of an old word. The Hebrew word is Yahweh. It mean I AM or I WILL BE. If you read the account of Moses in Exodus chapter three and four you will notice that God calls himself 'I AM'. Also not that in the New Testament in the Gosple of John Jesus calls himself ' I AM' seven times at least. I AM the Good Shepherd, I AM the Door, I AM the Bread of life, I AM the True Vine, I AM the Light of the world, I AM the Resurrection and the Life, and I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. So Jesus is claiming that he is actually Jehovah, he is God.
The Jehovah's Witnesses deny this. If they accept that Jesus is who he really Say's he is then their whole faith crumbles.

The Mormons are another sect. They where founded by a young man by the name of Joseph Smith back in the 1800's. He claimed to have have had a vision of an angel named the Angel Moroni. This angel supposed to have shown Joseph the secret location of a book. This was the book of Mormon. It was saying that after Jesus was resurrected he went to another land and preached to the people there. That place is the place we now call America. This is clearly rubbish because when Jesus was resurrected after forty days he was taken back up to heaven where he is seated at the right hand side of God.
They also used to teach that when Cain killed his brother, Cain became a black man and that's where black people come from. They deny this now. The reason for this is because they where taken to court for racism in the 70's. They believe in the Trinity father, son, and holy spirit. But they don't believe that they are 3 in 1 but actually 3 separate god's.
god lives near the planet Kolob. Man lives on the sun and the moon. One day if they are good enough they will be coma a god and have a planet and populate it like Adam and Eve. Also they are full of free masonry. They actually wear a vest under their clothes that they are not allowed to take off.
They make vows that if they tell anyone what they have seen and done in the temple they will be put to death.
If you ask them what they do in the temple they will say that its sacred. But the Bible doesn't say anything about keeping sacred things to ourselves. What they mean is its a secret and they are scared to answer your question.
I know that Its long but I hope it helps.

Jehovah comes from the name of God called YHWH. The name consisted of consonants but not vowels. Scholars put in the vowels so it became YeHoWaH. They also put it that the Y has a sound of J in English and the W the sound of V in English. So the English version is JeHoVaH or Jehovah as it is commonly put. Modern bibles use capitals LORD in place of YHWH. The bible refers to YHWH as the creator of the universe.

Mormon is a belief by some mostly white Americans of some American John Smith who claimed he found some concealed writing which claimed "the lost tribe of Israel" sailed to central America. He claims Jesus visited and taught this lost tribe. This is a false teaching. Genetic information suggests that the American Indians came from Asia and not Israel and went on foot via Alaska.

"Jehovah" is the English translation of the divine name for the Almighty, which is used nearly 7000 (yes, seven thousand) times in the original manuscripts of the Holy Scriptures.

The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) seems to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.

The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".

(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth

(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

Jehovah's Witnesses have the reputation as foremost among those who seek to "make known" the divine name. Learn more about them from their official website:

Jehovah, is the English word for the name of God. There is a religion called Jehovah's Witness. These people go door to door telling people about God and try to convert people to their faith.
A Mormon is also a Christian based religion and they also will go door to door asking people to change to their religion.

P.S. In case you don't know, door to door means knocking on the door of one house, talking to the people there, then moving on to the next house.

Actually, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) are not cult members, nor is the religion a cult.
They are also Christian, if you go by the definition of a Christian as one who believes in the savior Jesus Christ and his Atonement for the sins of all mankind.
The only person worshipped by 'Mormons' is Jesus Christ.
Those who profess to be Christian should know that a Christian is one who takes Christ's countenance upon themselves; in other words - As he has loved us, let us love one another.

Yes, it bothers me very much! The way I see it, is if they "love" the band/musician so much, then why can't they spell the name correctly? That's the same for songs. I absolutely am so bothered by fake-fans, even of bands/musicians/songs I don't like. I know people are fake-fans just so they can seem "cool", or something, which is the thing that bothers me the most.
