I Cant Get Used To The Fact That My Girlfriend Farts At The Most Innoportune Times. She Says She Cant Help It, But To Me A Woman Farting Is A Huge Turn Off. I Asked Her Repeatedly Never To Fart Around Me Yet Every So Often She Lights Up A Entire Room. Her Health Is Not A Issue Here. I Think She Is Just Being Inconsiderate. I Am Ready To Show Her The Door.

i'll have to agree that the farting is inappropriate. yes, i understand that farting is natural but we aren't primitives. we can exercise self-control and tact. should the need arise it is a simple matter to rise and leave the room. if a question should be asked abut the reason for your brief departure, be honest. no one will ask again. i was raised in a home with five people and one bathroom. i am proud to say that we never got into the practice of farting for one another or in front of any other person. this is something i adhere to today and i'm proud to say i have raised my son in the same manner. i'm not saying no one in the house farts. its just that if someone farts, no one in the home but the farter needs to know.
i give that information only to show that it is possible to lead a tact-filled, fart-resistant life. if you've already addressed the issue with her and she refuses to mend her ways despite your EXPLICIT disapproval, then i agree "dump her."
but before you threaten a break-up, please ensure that she understands just how strongly you feel on this matter. tell her in no uncertain terms that this is an important enough issue that it may end the relationship. if you don't make that clear to her then your break-up would reek far worse than her stinkiest fart.

Everybody farts. If we didn't, we would blow up or get really sick. It is a sign of a healthy dietary tract. Doing it at inappropriate times is rude. If you are thinking of leaving her over something like this, then there are underlying issues that go beyond the farting thing. Couples counseling or discuss this with her and tell her how you feel. Honesty is one of the most important parts of your relationship. If she is not willing to honor your wishes and stop farting and inappropriate times then you both have underlying issues with each other. She may be doing this to annoy you because she is upset with you, etc. Talk, listen and work things out. Find out what is really going on between the two of you. Good luck.

Farting is a natural part of life, but I think girls with class are brought up not to do it all the time everywhere. If you live with a girl, it's gonna happen, but I feel your pain. I lived with my girlfriend for a year, and she would burp all the time like she was a fraternity guy at a kegger. She wouldn't even say "excuse me". It wasn't any part of the reason we broke up, but it sure was unattractive and got on my nerves after a while.

It is funny that she does it when you have asked her to stop.
I think she has been sent to teach you that people are not perfect. No women, no girlfriend, and not you. Perfectionism is something that will get in the way of true relationships.
As long as you hold a model of what a women is.. you can not find a real love - so if you keep her around or not it does not matter until that is resolved.
She is doing you a great service in showing you that.

If she just does it home, fine its alright. But if she does it in public come on i'm a guy and i can hold it untill im some where private or im moving through a large crowd of people.
Yes i know farting is natural but if it stinks dont make other people suffer or if the noise disrupts a nice dinner try to be conciderate.
try explaining this to her and see if she changes her mind

I'm sorry, that's really funny...but *ahem* I honestly think that you should either tell her how much it bothers you and that it's making you uncomfortable, and if she continues to do it, then you should give her the boot. Or maybe she is trying to put you down easy (??).
Even if she can't control it, come on, I know she can feel her fart coming on, so she can at least walk away for a little bit.

Girls should be allowed to fart, but away from other people, she probably is being inconsiderate and too lazy to get up, go outside and let all loose where there is noone around.

I'm sorry, but it is a natural function. All humans fart, whether they be male OR female. If she never passed gas, then I would be worried she might be an alien or something. Like my Grandpa says "Where ever you may be, let your air go free". In short, she can not stop herself. I am proud to say that no matter where I am, If I need to fart, then by golly gee, I'm going to rip one.
