if its work instructions that make practical sense to those who needs it, it'll be a necessity without having to be attractive. Get those guys who live off your work instruction contribute to what you're writing.

You can use Powerpoint to really supe up your WI's. Remember to use bright colors that are soft on the eyes for the lettering. Use italics and bold lettering to emphasize points of focus. Keep any pics you add clear and as small as possible if it is a diagram, big as possible if showing detail. Use multiple colors for different items in your instructions. And remember to use an easy to follow outline. Good luck and have some fun with it.

try using power point presentations to do your instructions and try puting pictures and use big letters so they are visible and things like that.
