I know that life can suck sometimes, but look at the alternative. I personally know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour. When we die, we do not cease to exist. We will live for eternity in Heaven or Hell. There is no other scenario. It is our choice where we spend it. If you are not a believer, I do hope you will think about it and ask Jesus to save you. God bless you and yours.

they will probably tell you that when we die, that's it.
please don't believe that for one moment!
I don't know where you are in your life, what things are going on, but I can tell you this much, God is very much real and heaven is worth every second of suffering that we have to endure. the Bible says that even if we live to be a very old age, it is only a vapor compared to eternity.
I have a cousin that died and came back, she was dead long enough to have a toe tag and a death certificate. she descibes heaven in every way.. from sight to sound to smell! she saw a place that had flowers of every color and even some colors we don't have here. she saw her parents who had passed away many years before. she said the smell of heaven was unlike anything she had ever smelled here on earth. and the angels were singing, the most beautiful song she had ever heard.
she goes into further detail than I have, but it would give you chills. she describes Jesus, but said that she was bowing at his feet, and he told her to come back and she told him she didn't want to, but before she could argue the point, she slammed back into her body.
I'm sorry for the long answer, but I thought I would share with you the heaven that I heard about.

God bless you

While it's impossible to know, that's what I believe. There's no evidence to the contrary besides human testimony, and human testimony can be pretty sketchy.
Why do we bother? We're all filled with the biological drive to survive and reproduce; we are only here today because our ancestors had that drive.

That isn't 'it'. If it were, what you said would be absolutely correct.

There is a hereafter. Read the New Testament of the Bible. It'll shed light on stuff for you. And read Proverbs in the Old Testament.

Remember, fortunately for all humanity, truth doesn't depend one whit on it's recipient's ability to believe it.

No thats not all there is to it. If you are a believer of God and follow is plan there is a better place waiting for you when you die. This place is called heaven and I believe that all of God's believers will live there happy forever praising HIS name. For He is the creator of all things.

Atheism is not for weak minded people.

If you consider the idea that "life" ends when the body stops functioning (as it does for all animals) too frightening to contemplate, that's okay.

But, believing Santa Claus is waiting for you is not going to change the outcome.

No way,Gen.1:1 GOD created the Heavens and the earth! He created it. He created you! He has a wonderful plan for your life! Ya know this may sound silly but a hairbrush is made for brushing your hair you cant eat with it and use it as a fork, the same goes for us if we arent living for GOD and talking with HIM and fellowshiping with HIM we just arent reaching our potential and perpose!

Yes....you die and cease to exist- just like you didn't exist before you were born. Remember then? No- of course you don't. BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T EXIST! We bother because we're here anyway- we may as well make the best of it.

"if you an atheist
you die and you cease to exist
you have no HOPE at all
of future life, eternal life. "

And athiests are comfortable with the idea.
