I am not seeing any changes after installing them. Can u explain for what use are they?

so it seems to be that the security updates are no need of mine because mine is only a home PC and is used mostly for Fun only

Security updates fixes bugs from the OS, like problems with the firewall, intruders, hackers, viruses, etc.

Windows programmers don't write great code, so they have "security vulnerabilities." Security fixes are almost never visible to the end user. They are not trying to secure the software against an average user. They are trying to secure you against a hacker or virus trying to get control of your computer or get information from you that they shouldn't have.

It blocks ways hackers could tak eover your computer. You should not see any effect.
