I have 3 children and living in a 2bd home. thinking in converting our garage into a room. we can buy a bigger house but that would mean no more vacations .. I'm a stay home mom for now. would probably mean me going back to work. What would you do?

3girls 2 boys and one bathroom, I 'm ok with my situation,but family members keep telling us that we need a bigger home, why can't they see the situation like most of you?

Enjoy the kids while you have them still underfoot. There will be plenty of days when you can have the "big beautiful house" with all the luxuries and accessories.....only I'd much rather hear the giggles and laughter of my children as they chase the cat that they just dressed up in the cabbage patch wedding gown. Those days will be gone TOO SOON!!

Just give yourself time to think about this and what it is you really need to do or want to do.Right now I think staying home with the kids and taking care of them is most important. Just try to make due with the garage. You don't want to get stretch yourself out there working and not having time for your family. Maybe something else will come up, just wait things out. It's not like you don't have a place to live now, so be happy with what you have, until you can figure out better. Think of the kids wait a while til they get bigger, then decide.

I can't believe you are actually asking a question like that...Of course being with your children is number one !!!!!...You should already know that..My kids have always come first with me..Yes we have had a rough life but now that they are grown they appreciate everything better than they would have if I hadn't been a constant in their lives..

Don't go back to work just for the money, only if u enjoy the job, & ur kids r old enough to take care of themselves, although the'll miss u even if they're teenagers

I would discuss with my children, see if they need more space.
Or, remain the same conditions, with mom around the house.
If your children gets older, they won't be so attached to "mom". Adolescences need to be with peer groups.
Well, we can't have all.
