He's a lot like his ancestor Jacob (Israel). Jacob learned from his mother, as Jesus did. Jacob's son Joseph was good at it too. Joseph talked his way out of prison, and into power by interpreting dreams.

I read an essay once, on 'heavenly deception'. It may be kosher, but it ain't cool.

But in the end, Jesus turned down the 'Big Sting', when the devil tempted him in the desert. That tells me I can trust him. It also tells me he knows every trick in the book, so I don't lie to him when I pray!

Jesus lived a short life here on this earth and was sacrificed for our sins . I can't see you think He was a con man . He loved mankind even after they hung Him up on the cross . He asked God to forgive them , they know not what they do . He came into the world that through him we might be saved .

without attacking you, i will say no. I don't base this on strong belief in his divinity but on the fact that Jesus did not write a single word of the bible and was not the founder of any of the modern forms of religion that bear his name. As someone already pointed out, not a very good con if it results in you getting crucified. A better argument could be made for Paul being a conman aince he arguably could be considered the founder of christianity in it's gentile dominated form.

No, I don't think he was a con man. I think he was very misunderstood. I think the picture we have of him today is not the true picture. The bible has been revised and rewritten over and over to suit people's own beliefs. I don't think the version of the bible that we have today is the true and real account of when Jesus was on this earth.

Jesus wasn't a con man, remember, the greatest trick the devil ever did was making the world beleive he doesnt exist--a lot of people dont beleive he exists.

No way man.
If he was a con man why then when he was being crucified one of the soldiers believed that he was the son of man ,not by believing in him
.he was a non believer but when he saw Jesus he saw that he was different from the ones he had once crucified.

Yup. Either that or he's one of the most powerful witches that ever lived. Drink from this cup of bitter herbs - said mary magdelaine before he "died" on the cross. A potion to ease the pain perhaps or perhaps a tonic to make it appear his heart had stopped....perhaps it's all just a load of man made sh1t. You can't argue with a Witch because you can't argue with nature. :o). Blessed Be friend

It's not just him it is many people who are finally waking up and are just now stopping to believe in a god with no proof of his existance. Would you believe me if I told you I saw a 12 eyed green alien, no. And yet you believe the teachings of some guy 2000 years ago.

Nope, not even close. Jesus was a master prophet sent to earth by God, to teach us about God. He was one of many master prophets including Buddha and Mohammed and many others. Prophets appear in this day and age as well, but we are so jaded that it is difficult to hear or believe.
