I don't know if you wanted to meet them here; if so, I'm not one. I did find 289 listings, nation wide, in a USA phone book:

http://find.person.superpages.com/

You can specify a town and state or just a state or the entire country. if you like.

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp
has 197 listings. It looks like your ancestors started in Spain and spread to South and Central Amercia. The earliest one I saw was

Agueda de Uriarte Christening: 08 FEB 1625 Ispaster, Vizcaya, Spain

Finally,
http://www.ancestry.com/learn/facts/default.aspx?ln=
says:

Uriarte
Spanish: topographic name formed with Basque uri-, iri- ‘hamlet’, ‘village’, ‘settlement’.

Dictionary of American Family Names, Oxford University Press, ISBN 0-19-508137-4

So you guys are Basque!

There is a family with the last name Uriarte who live one block down from me in Utah. I think the parents still live there but their children (2 or 3) are all grown up - they were at least a few years younger than I was. Are you doing family history?

Hey, that's one of my closest friends last name. I can't believe I saw it on here. Between her and her family they are the only Uriarte's I know.
