I don't blame yr mother for looking for the reasonable answer.
First, yr daughter may be seeing another man or a grandfather figure like image and then talking about it in her own childish way, as all children do.
Dreaming about yr loved ones that have died only means that you miss them, you are grieving or have grieved and you need that connection at a different level or dimension. one that feels closer to life and where all things are possible. That is yr dream. The perfect place for the perfect occurance: being with yr loves ones that have passed away.
I do it often even after one year of my dad's death. I still dream a bit about him where I actually see him in my dream , and it is very real in my dream. But it's just a dream. It does not mean that I am channeling to any other dimension. The dead are dead, "for the dead know nothing" "the dead are dead" and there is no posibility that they are alive somewhere, not yet, and you able to contact their souls.
You are wanting to be with yr people's souls. And that can be achieved in a dream, sometimes.
However do know this: Jesuschrist did explain that the dead are dead and they are not awake (alive) so they know nothing.
Frankenstein is a good example of people wanting to put life back into a dead body. Nobody has been able to encounter a resurrected human being yet.
The only one being Jesuschrist resurrected and the son of God. So my personal response to you, I'd follow and listen to what Jesus says in Scriptures. Right there you have all the truth.
So i base my answer on what Jesus said and what my experiences have brought too. Many deaths of loved ones from my sister to my dad my auncles all of them,, and now my mom is heading there and I cant stop the anguish over it. I cant make my loved ones gone, come back. Not even my gramma.
The most recent death was my dad's las t june '05. just a year.
And the dreams are starting to go away. Whicfh is good and bad. But reality it is.
So no it doesnt run in yr family and yr not seeing strange things or even yr family . if they died , they are dead and i know its hard to admit it. Im very sorry for you too. I know how it feels.
Hang on to life and time does start healing one's losses.
I still sobb for my dead dad. I will never get over it. that i know. but there is hope , Jesus and I have a lot to thank for. We will have another life and an everlasting one. with a new body and we'll find our loved ones.
Hang in there.
Just dont think you are seing ghosts and can channel. Its ok. Just trust what Im saying.

I think those kinds of abilities are hereditary, but one does have to be open to the experience. I happen to be very open to those experiences and while they don't happen often, they happen often enough. My brother, though, is a LOT more receptive than I am and I believe that my dad and grandfather had the same kind of nature.
These kinds of things happen a lot more with children because they are so innocent and young and haven't been exposed to as much... how shall I say it... negativity on the subject. I've also read a lot of things that say that spirits are often drawn more to children because they are so young and innocent.

Whenever I had a dream I am curious about I check that dictionary, but really, though, figuring out your dreams is a very personal thing. They are little messages, a type of metahpor if you will, from your subconscience. While I definitely believe it is possible for our loved ones on the otherside to contact us through dreams - sometimes a dream is just a dream.

I think that on a spiritual level, one knows when we're soon to depart. I've had the same experience once, and doesn't happen within the bloodline but on close friends and family. My best friend (and somewhat a father figure to me) entered a terminal state when his kidneys failed completely and his brain was traumatized in some sort of septic shock, leaving him totally incapacitated in a hospital bed. One night I had a feeling that someone was in my room and I literally felt (shivers running) someone sat at the corner of my bed. The next night I dreamt of my friend as he said to me he might not make it back so he had to take a trip far away and was crying, followed by him walking away on a street that I recognized that I used to live in when I was little.
Next day I was told he died just around 2 am. His wife, who was the one to notice his death, saw that tears came out of him, literally as he passed away. I don't know, could be all mere coincidence, but I believe that something spiritual did joined us together and it was far strong that he came to me in my dreams to say goodbye.
You're not alone there. I've learned to just embrace what and who you have here on earth living with you, cause after they're gone, there's quite a lot of feelings of loss and despair.
Enjoy your loved ones as if it were the last day you would ever see them again, I know I do and I enjoy my life better each day.

My Grandmother told me that death is a new beginning. It could mean a death of a way of life as well. You have dreamt of three loved ones. That could mean there are going to be births, marriages or graduations. It could also be a creative spurt that you have that is not being nurtured. What your daughter saw was a waking dream. Yes, there is a possibility that she could be psychically linked to you somehow. The other thing that I find is that they are still able to think 'uncluttered'. That makes all the difference in the world. They see things we don't. They hear things we don't. They are at a crucial learning phase in their lives, they are the great observers and how we re-enforce things in their lives determines how they will manage these skills. Nobody knows how much brain power they use. But, I think they are using it way more efficiently than we do. We have trained ourselves not to believe in the mystic, ethereal world. They still believe in Santa and monsters in the closet. Why shouldn't they see the things we cannot?

I dream about my loved ones who passed away now and then...and yes I believe that I have some kind of connection to the "Jenseits"...but I don't need anybody to tell me their opinion on it, ... I believe because of my own experiences. Most people can't even grasp what you are talking about, and so there's really no point in asking people's opinion on it. Denial will not make it go away...so you might as well accept and make the best of it.

Just what I think, is that the Dreamworld is like our own, private MATRIX world, and anything can happen.
Time means nothing, nor space, and I can fly, or ski down hills in just street shoes, or destroy the entire planet and then rebuild it, move bookshelves with mere thought--all kinds of comic book stuff.
So I ask you--sincerely--how can anyone take dreams seriously?
Dreams are just self-made entertainment, like movies we'd like to see. Taking them seriously is not to be recommended, or soon you might not know what's real from what's imaginary, like Allison Dubois in "Medium".

That might be. I see past loved ones in my dreams too but never in real life. It sounds to me like you might have a connection or they just wanted to see your daughter! I think that you should see someone who specializes in this kind of stuff.

yes it can run in the family. You could develop it in yourself and your daughter if you try. Write the dreams down and think about who you want to dream about before sleep. See what happens. Let your daughter talk to her friends or relatives. It can't hurt her.
