Plucking White Hair

i wonder when will people stop asking silly questions ???? Don't they teach biology or anatomy in schools anymore ?

OK, i'll explain. Each hair strand has a root, which is enclosed within a hair follicle. Therefore, if you have, for example, 2 millions of follicles on your scalp, you will never have more than 2 millions of strands of hair. No matter how much hair you pluck, cut or shave, you WILL NOT have more strands of hair growing back. The hair might become darker or hoarser, like in the case when you shave your legs. The hair might grow faster if you shave it. But you WILL NOT have more hair than you are genetically programmed to have. Therefore, if you pluck one strand of hair, from the follicle where it used to grow can come out ONLY ONE strand of white hair.

But, as someone wrote above, at the moment you pluck it, you may have other strands of white hair on the way, so that it might appear that they grew after you plucked the first one.

No. Plucking it will not encourage more white hairs. However, if you have one white hair their is a good chance that more are on the way. So, whether you pluck it or not, one may very well become ten.
Sorry for the bad news.

no, hair only gets whiter with age not from pulling one out. the hair just loses pigment as we grow older.
