i was born with hypothyroidism( under active thyroid), i have no metabolism,very little. im over weight and want to lose it but i have no energy,im on meds but im nearly on the highest dose possible,and its not working.i know i can tell my doc.,but the real problem is that when people see me,they assume that im fat cause i eat too much,and i dont. some people are fat cause of medical reasons,i dont understand why people have to pick on fat people,when its possible its not their fault?and is there anything to help my metabolism?

Sorry about that.... I know how you feel. I know someone who started gaining alot of weight due to a health problem and being on certain medications, a lot of people don't understand that. I was told that eating very small portions throught out the day rather than the 3 suggested meals might help boost your metabolism but make sure it's healthy eating and no junk food. Try some Cardios, walking, light jogs....etc whenever you can. Hope this helps...

you may want to strengthen thyroidism at any element on your existence you do not absolutely could be born with it. My mom and older sister have hyperthyroid and that i'm noticeably certain i am going to have it as well. you should flow on your health practitioner and get examined for TSH.
