Would you say? "I have faith that it's night time"? You wouldn't because you know its night time. Right? You have to have faith in god because you know deep down it's bullshit. You're nothing but a bunch of mentally disturbed fearful agnostics

Um... If I know God exists, then that IS called Faith.
Amazing that atheists are always so full of knowledge.
Pull your lip over your head, and swallow.
have a blessed day!
you write rap songs about positive issues, yet you blast people for their beliefs. Hmm.. That's a great way to gain popularity, Tupac.
No one wants to hear that , rap is dead. You ain't RUNDMC or Ice Cube. Now that's 'in your face', can you respect That>?

You can see its night..you can't actually see God. Faith is belief in what you can not see or touch. Doesn't take a lot of faith to see that it is night or that the sun came up.
I do know for a fact that belief in God must really be bothering you for you to make such statements. I don't really think much or often about atheists...seems they think a lot about Christians though... Just an observation.

Believers don't seem to know the difference between faith and belief. Belief is a conviction about something specific, with or without evidence. Faith has no assumptions and no expectations. I reckon it takes real faith to be an atheist. Perhaps it takes courage, too, to acknowledge ignorance, but act and respond to the results.

faith is something that people say to non believers.
Now you are going to say why not use believe. That too is easy, because they too are not the same to the people who use faith instead of belief.
See I can say I believe that I will live to see my 100th birthday, but to me I can not say I have faith that I will see my 100th birthday.
To me faith says I truely believe without a shadow of a doubt in something I can not prove to you, but belief means I think.
You are right faith and I know are 2 different, but not as different as you think. The only difference is I can not prove to you my faith, but I can prove what I know.
As for what you are saying; I can not say it is night where you are can I. You could live in a place where it is day right now. So I would either have to say I believe or I have faith in what you are saying. Since I truely do not know I have to say believe not faith.

Let's see, I have faith, and I'm happy, you don't and your miserable and angry? Sure, you can say my faith is delusional, whatever. But, if faith gives hope, energy, life, joy, meaning in this life isn't that a good thing? If it's not true, if it's all made up, what have I lost? I have lived my life seeking to love others, to do justice, to be kind, to live for something beyond myself, so I guess if that's b.s. I'm OK with that.

Wow, someone has issues.
Your question is based on FAULTY LOGIC. You say "If you know god exist, what's the point in having faith?" But, besides looking at the Earth, trees, rivers, woods, ocean, nite sky, and universe all around us and all it tells us about God, HOW ELSE can we know that God exists? We can't. There is no TANGIBLE, hold it in your hands proof. So therefore your question is baseless, it makes no sense. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE FAITH. Because we don't have proof AND THAT'S HOW GOD WANTS IT. He wants us to believe in our hearts and heads and He knows that if we need something physical then we're handicapped. WE DON'T NEED PROOF, we already have it in our Hearts.

It's not faith if you don't believe it either. It is faith when you believe despite the fact that it can't be proven. If you know it's BS, then you don't really have faith. You are just an illogical thinking backwoods inbred tree humpin satanist.

If you have a best friend...and you care about him/her and say they tell you they are about to give a speech but they are nervous about screwing it up, then you, as a best friend that you are will probably encourage him/her and say "Nah, you'll do great. Don't worry." Well, that's having "faith" in your friend that he/she will do well. Having faith in GOD is believing HE will get you through life's rough patches, we as humans tend to screw things up royaly all by ourselves. Does that make sense?

I don't have faith that there is a God, I have faith that my God loves me and all of Gods creations. I have proof that God exists. My own proof. My proof can not be proof to you. So no I don't have faith that God exists. I have proof!
