Muhammad spoke the satanic verses. He could only have been possessed by satan if he was a false prophet. Obviously, he remained possessed for the rest of his life....which accounts for all of the depraved acts of heinous evil he committed while he was alive. This also explains why such evil behavior has been the rule, not the exception throughout the entire history of Islam and is so common in every muslim country in the world.

And the clerics KNOW all of this. No authority on Islam disputes the satanic verses. Worse, none dispute the evil things that Muhammad did. Instead, they claim that Muhammad is above good and evil. They claim that ANY act of evil, no matter how depraved, is good if done in the service of Allah. That is EXACTLY the type of thing that would be said in a religion dedicated to service to satan. The clerics know this and issue fatwas against anyone who reveals the truth (like Rushdie). But, they absolutely do not dispute this truth. To do so would be heresy and punishable by death (Islam loves to punish people with death.....what a beautiful religion).

Christians know that Muhammad is a false prophet. What is amazing is that muslims do not know.

He spoke the satanic verses.

Which Christians? Catholicsm will recognize the union of ideas between Islam and Christianity: the existence of a one true God and his Second Coming. Just as Jesus is also a prophet among Muslims, we respect Muhammed as the announcer of the good news in the Islam part. But Fundametalist Christianity or Protestanism will not recognize this. Their sects stick to the belief that their doctrine is absolute.

I'm fairly certain there is no Jesus -CHRIST- in Islam. Therefore, Muhammed did not prophess Christianity. So, christians believe Muhammed to be a false prophet.

AND

Islam is basically a blatantly made-up religion. It's commonly known that Islam is a mixture of beliefs on Christianity and Judaism.

wait... muslims don't believe Jesus to be the messiah.
that's why.

oh yes, jules, the idea that we can all trace our roots back to monkeys, no, microscopic organisms, no, primortial ooze (thats basically thick, lifeless goop), makes PERFECT COMMON SENSE.

tell me, jules, have you ever seen a dog and a cat have sex and produce a turkey?

no. you havent.

but this earth has seen my God, and many people today have seen his first resting place.

Why doesn't Judaism accept Jesus as the Messiah? Why don't Moslem's recognize Baha'i as a path to God? Christians are a diverse lot but accepting Muhammad as a prophet would conflict the belief in trinity and an arisen Christ, key tenants of their religion. Christians accept Judaism as completed by their newer revelation., Muslims accept Judaism and Christianity on the same basis. It only works in one direction.

Muhammed was a prophet but way after Jesus that is my understanding. I'll share something I feel, Muhammed was a good man, very respected and loved by his close friends, but there was someone who was greater then he, Jehova and then Jesus.

Well different people believed in different things..i respect what people believe..we cant make or force them to believe like we do..

If we respect and learn about other people religions, norms and values i think we will not be an ignorance person.

All muslim believed in Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. as he is the last prophet among 25(major known) prophet. He never tell lies and he has be chosen and written in mny books as the last prophet. Even in the INJIL (bible) has stated that Muhammad is the last prophet..

There are many Christians who do believe in the Prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH) just as Muslims do believe in Jesus Christ.

what is so illogical about accepting Christ's word that believing on Him would forgive all sins? you believe on muhammed's word that you will be judged based on your deeds.

why wouldn't the creator be able to simply forgive those who ask?

if someone were to have wronged you and then asked for your forgiveness, would you say, "No, you did it, now I will make you miserable for all eternity!"

Christ is not saying there will not be consequences, that is life, but what He is saying is that He will no longer hold that against you, you have been cleared the debt, Christ's blood covered it.

It is simply two seperate faiths, believe as you will ^.^

WHOA. A muslim is not a muslim unless he Believes in Isa (Jesus, which translated into greek means Messiah), Musa (Moses). Islam is the peacefull submission to one creator. jesus did to call for muhammed. Two versus in the bible. I dont know where they are but one states. A prophet will come with 10,000 angels. When Muhammed retook the Kabbah in Mecca(which is the official start of Islam) he had 10,000 followers. Second, it says the next prophet will be "the praised one". Muhammed in Arabic means guess what? Exactly.

Muslims respect and revere Jesus, and await his Second Coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God’s messengers to mankind. A Muslim never refers to him simply as ‘Jesus’, but always adds the phrase ‘upon him be peace’. The Quran confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Quran is entitled ‘Mary’), and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation. The Quran describes the Annunciation as follows:
‘Behold!’ the Angel said, ‘God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary, God gives you good news of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one of those brought near to God. He shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.’
She said: ‘O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?’ He said: ‘Even so; God creates what He will. When He decrees a thing, He says to it, “Be!” and it is.’ (Quran, 3:42-7)
Jesus was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam into being without a father:
Truly, the likeness of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, ‘Be! And he was (3:59)
During his prophetic mission Jesus performed many miracles. He Quran tells us that he said:
I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by God’s leave. And I heal the blind, and the lepers, and I raise the dead by God’s leave. (3:49) Neither Muhammad nor Jesus came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in One God, brought by earlier prophets, but to confirm and renew it. In the Quran Jesus is reported as saying that he came:
To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign from yur Lord, so fear God and obey Me. (3:50)

Because muhammed came 700 years later than our messiah, and his teachings contradict everything that our Lord stands for. Then, there's that whole pedophile thing with Mohammed's' 9 year old wife. Too creepy!
