and have any of you been treated badly because of this or been misunderstood???

I am Wiccan and I am not treated that badly but some people wont talk to me and ridicule me and then of course there are the Christians who try to convert me but they are pretty much a minority. Blessed be.

I am Wiccan. I live in a very small town. No one here except the three other Wiccans in town understand me.
I thought small town life would be great. Instead I get my car vandalized and can't get a business permit.
I should have stayed in Portland, OR.
People here are so ignorant. They don't know about anything except their own little Cowan lives.

I am a pagan and have been polytheistic since I can remember (I'm 40 yrs. old). I have found that the vast majority of the time I am given the same amount of respect that I afford to others in the respect of religious beliefs. I don't prejudge others for their religious beliefs and find that they don't prejudge me. I encourage others to actively practice the religion that they believe in and find that they do the same to me. I feel that I have a lot in common with devoutly religious people in general---regardless of which particular religion we may practice.

i have. i was a sophomore in high school when i started looking into Paganism. one day in gym class i took out one of my books and started reading it when some of the preppy kids asked to see it. from there on out i got called "witch bit*h", and they also started taunting my friends because they hung out with an "evil" person. keep in mind i live in the "Bible Belt"...
it made me mad how they treated me, and i just wanted peace.

i treated bad all the time.i made a mistake and joined the wrong cult but now i am reformed i choose wica and what my indian ancestors believe in which is taking care of the earth.
