my whole family, actually clan lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. i am also currently residing here in SF with my mom. my dilemma is it is just way too exoensive to live here. the cost of living is just too high. i end up surviving and not living. i have a good friend who has been recommending me to move out of state. preferably in Denver, Colorado since I have a good friend there. In Colorado, there are better chances of us owning a house and eventually be able to live a better life. im confused i want to go together with my mom but i don't want to miss out my family and my cousins. please help me. thanks!

It's always hard being away from your family, but you have to do something for your own life... and it sounds as if you have a good opportunity. Go for it and if you don't like it you can always go back. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat, just on a different coast. I love my family here but It's just way too expensive and I can't do much about it.

We are moving. I can't live like this forever.

a great family will always be a great family. Tell them to take lots of pictures of events that you'll miss.

Put down some roots, buy a house, build good credit, and make sure you have a guest room!

Also, get a credit card or membership that will earn you sky miles.

Before you decide to move to Denver check out the cost of living there. Do research for a few different places you would like to go so you can compare. If you do decide to leave anyway make sure you stay in contact with your family by e-mail, phone, or letters.

Move to Colorado. Your survival is more important than you cousins and family.

try living out side the bay area. like stockton or santa rosa, perhaps even like gilroy or watsonville it is still close but not so expensive. In Colorado they only have 3.2 beer in the stores....ewwww.

You wouldn't be that far away. You could always visit the rest of your family every once in a while after you've got your new life settled.
