Sea of Galilee, although its a controversial idea. Ppl now think he may have walked on ice instead of water (as in the lake was frozen). Believe what you want to tho. Either way, according to the bible, it was the Sea of Galilee.
Follow-up: Its the largest lake in Isreal.

he was in a boat in the sea of galilee its the fast way to many sites around the shores when the storm happened he stepped out and told the winds and waves peace be still like quieting a dog or horse

I wanted to throw an answer in to your old question about evolution and different races. I don't know if anyone responded this way, but the way I was taught, was that of course creation, When cane killed able he was cursed with dark skin (thus different races) and languages came from the tower of bable when ppl were trying to build to heaven, they were cursed with different tounges so they couldn't communicate to finish their project, thus different languages. Also on this one, I don't know. I am not a scriptorian, I just knew the language, race thing from growing up and wanted to share.
