Wait, did I read this correctly? Did you state that she is your EX girlfriend? As in, you two are not a couple anymore? If that is the case, shame on her for even asking--that's ridiculous.
It sounds to me like she grew accustomed during your time together to asking you for things, and it's very nice that you are the type of person who provides money for clothes, etc, but the fact is that you don't have to give her anything. If you want to tell her to stuff it, please go right ahead. The fact that she is even asking puts my teeth on edge.
If she is spending $3000 for a vacation, she should have given some thought to the clothing issue before. She should have either saved $3300, or planned to only spend $2700 for the vacation, leaving the rest for clothes.
You don't owe her anything at all. If she wants to go play and have fun, she can take care of that on her own.

This is a girl that is no longer with you. You are not obligated to give her anything. Don't let her use you just because you do not want to be insensitive. Why doesn't she spend 2700 on her vacation and use the 300 to buy her own clothes. Tell her that.

If she is your ex - why in the world is she asking you for money and why would you care if she's taking a 3k vacation? If she's an ex you don't need to be giving her money - and if she's taking a 3k vacation she should surely be able to get herself some clothes.

She sounds like a real user.
You did state that she is an ex so why do you think you need to supply her with clothes?
Spend the $300 on a night out with your mates.

If she can't afford to buy herself clothes for this vacation, she has no business going. Tell her sorry, but you have bills that need to be paid and matter of fact, you were thinking about hitting her up for some money. Then look at her and smile sweetly and hold your hand out as if you expect her to drop cash into it.

Listen... if you still care for this girl then you need to treat her like dirt.
That is the only way she will be atracted to you again bro :).
Stop calling her.. ignore her.. hit on other ladies in front of her.. throw things and grunt, get a tatoo and ride a motocycle.
You have been labelled nice and are being played.

WTF are you going on vacation with her? If so and she paid for the vacation give her the money for clothes. The trip costed more. If you are not going with then obviously she dumped you and you still want her and you think you can buy her back to you.
Get a life ok and take the 300 and go to a casino.

you need to explain yourself better, y the hell would you give your ex 300 dollars for clothes. that's just stupid and makes no sense
but if she's paying 3k for a vacation for you, then i don't see the harm in giving her 300 dollars

why are you even asking? Shes an Ex girl friend, past tense, move on unless you like being used and taken advantage of, she wins and laughs at you and you spend money on someone who could care less about you
