My daughter's friend wants to go to Canada with me and and my family but I am not sure of all the laws besides having a passport. Shes an American citizen and my family is from Canda. How would she be able to go?

when we went to canada we didnt need passports, just a valid drivers license or state id. if anyone is under 16 or does not have id i would have ther ssc or birth certificate.

As far as I know, you still don't need a passport to travel between the USA and Canada. If you are coming from outside of either the US or Canada, then of course you will need a passport. Please note that the US is trying to enact a law that will require Canadians and Americans to have a valid passport, but it is meeting resistance on both sides.

us canadian border isnt as strict as us mexico...so take it easy and relax listen to the person up there^^^^^^^^^^^
