It is not possible. Since it is his widow's sister, he must have gone to the happy hunting ground. Well, maybe it is possible if you believe in reincarnation. Now if you do believe in reincarnation it may still not be correct. Does death automatically constitute divorce or would he be a bigamist? If he is reincarnated would he have a widow or a wife? Guess what!!! Which came first the chicken or the egg?

The man can't get married to his widow's sister because for his wife to be a widow he'd have to be dead.

If you mean, his dead wife's sister?
I would say, there is no problem. Moreover, the man already knows this woman. She also know the man. Both of them know the family members and relatives as well.
If the man has child, the woman can get accustomed with the child easily.
Otherwise, both of them would have married . So, why not to someone whom they know well.
If they dont like each other, or if they have some likings to someone else, then its different.

if you mean for a widower to marry his dead wifes sister,in my mind its wrong .
it would still be doing your wifes sister and some how even though said wife has pased it would just seem like the ultimate disrespect twards her

no, no, and no. that is so wrong! if this man loved his wife, why would he want to marry her sister? that would only bring up bad memories and the relationship would be worth NOTHING. say ur were married and your husband died. you wouldnt want him to go and marry your sister! you may love her but you wouldnt want her to run off with your husband wether you are dead or not.
