Why don't you see if he wants to get together for a meal or maybe go to the movies? Or since you two are both athletic, see if he wants to do something active? This way it's not like you're asking him out, but you are able to get together with him just one-on-one.

Write to him as much as u can..try to find out what he thinks about you..maybe he is thinking the same that u would give him some sort of indication that u like him too..
Someone has to take the initiative..and it might as well be you..he might be scared of rejection as i feel you are too..
Just try to find out what feelings he has about u..
try to break the ice by suggesting to go for a cup of coffee or something ...
DOnt be too aprehensive about relations getting tense because u two work together...just go ahead and find out ...

sometimes the teasing and emails are ways of him letting him you know that he's interested, hoping you might sense that and ask him out. I'm the boss at work and won't ask out a female employee afraid the girl might think its sexual harassment, maybe I'm too careful. probably why i'm single????

I would ask him out. He's probably feeling the same way about you as you feel about him otherwise he wouldn't be thinking about you. You may work together, but so what? Why should that stop you from getting your man?

Tell him you want to go out dancing again. Word it ambiguously enough that you save face if he's not interested, but let's him take that first move if he's so inclined and you're too shy/reserved.

IF YOU WORK TOGETHER, IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO FIND A DIFFERENT GUY. ROMANCE AND WORK DON'T MIX. HE MAY NOT HAVE ASKED YOU OUT FOR THAT VERY REASON.
GOOD LUCK.
