He could have been, but it is unlikely. In the ancient Hebrew culture, vegetarianism was seen as weakness, in bad contexts, or peacefulness or innocence, in good contexts. Jesus was a Jew, and it would have been strange for him not to eat fish or meat. To be absolutely honest, I could care less. "WWJE?" (What Would Jesus Eat?) is not what I see as important. What counts is that we are free from food laws in the OT.

Remember Jesus was Jewish so he would have observed their dietary requirements which does include meat but, excludes things like pork. You would have to look it up in the Old Testament of the Bible. Laws given about what meat is okay and what is not is in Leviticus Chapter 11.

No, but he was a torah-observant rabbi. Eyewitness accounts mention him eating fish, and Passover required eating lamb or goat.

Well I think he ate fish?
But some vegetarians do.
Sorry, I don't really know.

No He ate fish and bread on several occasions when he was talking to the Jew and teaching them how to love God.

Probably not. The bible talks about him eating a passover meal, which traditionally includes lamb.

It is entirely immaterial to his concept and his message. Why fixate on something so small and inconsequential?
