What did he ever do to you but send his ONLY son to forgive you of your sins and give you a chance to get into heaven?

OK OK YOU GUYS HAVE A POINT MOST DONT HATE GOD...BUT WHY DO THEY HAVE TO PUT HIM DOWN SO BAD..JUST CAUSE THEY DONT LIKE HIM DOESNT MEAN WE CANT.

If they concede that God exists, then they also must admit the existence of absolute right and wrong. As Live and Direct above just proved, most people don't want to do that so they try to just say God does not exist so their personal morals don't matter.

1.) YOU are capable of hating God, because YOU believe he exists. I do not believe such a creature exists, and since I cannot hate that which doesn't exist, then I do not hate your God.
2.) You really should ask yourself why your deity cannot simply forgive you without killing someone else. If you did something to hurt me, I could forgive you without killing so much as a fly--so why can't God?
3.) If heaven is so great and I'm supposed to want to go there, then why was there a war? According to Revelations, Satan fought against God and got cast out of heaven. If there was war in heaven, then there must be sin, and if heaven has war and sin, then how is it any better than Earth?? Your own theology tells me that there is no reason to go there.

Most people just ignore God. Those that hate God, usually cannot stand the thought of anything in any shape or form being more important in the universe than themselves. The idea of a God definitely falls int this category

Nobody hates God, some people just don't believe in Him or believe in more than one gods/goddesses. That's not hating, that's just not believing. There's a difference, ya know.

Und how would you know he's NOT real? There's no evidence agaisnt or for His exsistence, so there's no room to push either issue. =P
[edit2] Yeesh, don't get so angry over this. So what if someone doesn't like you for your religion? Just ignore them, they don't deserve your attention if they let petty things like that get in the way of the opinions about you.

People don't want to know God because if they looked at Him and read His word they would see the sin in their lives. People don't like seeing the sin in their lives, it makes them feel uncomfortable and they don't want to change. They enjoy being comfortable.
Knowing Christ as your Lord and Savior means that people have to change the way they are living, they have to repent of their sins. Instead people prefer to drink or deny God exists, they will do anything so they don't have to admit to their sins.
Their minds are blinded by Satan as they cover their eyes and say they can see, they cover their ears and say they can hear, but they are blind and deaf, and that is their choosing.

I don't hate God. I even dont hate Jesus. But I do hate most Christians. I guess I have a hard time with God letting these bozos run the world.

I don't think people hate God. Some people don't like the images of God that have been taught, they don't like being told, believe in God or go to hell, they don't like hearing about how God thinks they are an abomination for the way they are created, they don't like people judging them because they don't believe certain things, they don't like hearing a bunch of mumbo jumbo about God that conflicts with scientific facts.

Nobody hates god, except for satanists. Agnostics and atheists simply take a more realistic approach to religion, and that doesn't mean that we hate god, mostly because we question or don't think that god actually exists. It is more the christian religion and it's hypocrisies and close-mindedness that we hate.

Yeah their is a lot of people who hate God that is a real shame,they have no respect for him or his son that paid the price for us to live and look how they repay him.they will see for their self when the have to face the consequences,then they will be crying and wishing they would had listen to the truth and not talked all that crap they did.

Before we all close our eyes for the last time we have seen god and know his power in our lives. Few go to the other side without believing god gave them a fair shake and they don't complain anymore.
