A lot of Christians talk about Christ's death fulfilling some sort of prophecy. Apparently Christians are unaware of the concept of omnipotence, which would allow "God" to do anything he wanted to do, including solve whatever the problem was without sacrificing his son, but I digress...

There is only one thing that used to stand in between God and man, and that was sin (or all the bad stuff people did). The punishment for sin is death. Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life. He died, even though he did not deserve to die because he had not sinned. Because he died, he removed the barrier between God and man. Now man does not have to suffer what is called the second death, or going to hell. Jesus chose to do this because he loved each and every human so much that he did not want them to have to suffer in hell. Yes, he is all powerful, and that's part of the reason why it means so much. It's like a friend taking the blame for something you did wrong. Your friend had nothing to do with what happened, but they took the punishment anyway.
Yes, there is only one God. He is divided into three parts, God the Father, God the Son (Jesus, Messiah), and God the Spirit (Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost). Think of it more as three different descriptions of the same person. God has many different jobs, and each of these names describes one set of jobs.
The thing about all of this is that you can't understand by yourself. It's not humanly possible to fully grasp the concept of God. That is where God comes in. God is the only way that anyone can even get close to having the slightest clue. If you want to understand, He will help you. But he only helps you if you want him to.

The Hebrew religion required blood sacrifice on the alter to God. Animals were used in the ritual, animals with no blemish. I don't really understand or believe in that, but when God says that's the way it is, who's to argue? His football, His rules. We just play the game. I think God got a little tired of messing with us, and turned the whole shooting match over to His Son. That required a blood sacrifice, and the Son was it. Based on His words in the garden, it doesn't seem as if He was really keen on the idea, but His Father's will was supreme, even for Jesus. The Trinity is an invention of man, not mentioned specifically in the Bible. Man is forever naming things, putting things in cubby holes, and the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are no exception. Probably (I don't know) some pope or pope's committee came up with the name Trinity, which basically means "three".

Why does GOD need to reincarnate himself???
Some say to understand the problems of humanity...
Wow!!! the CREATOR does not know about his creation?
Do the Guys at Intel become some sort of a Chip to understand whats wrong with the silicon chips???
The philosophy of re-incarnation & crucification is all nonsense, You dont have to become a Computer for understanding the Computer, you can really be your normal self and just write the instruction manual, moreover if the machine is too coplicated you send an engineer with the manual.
Similarly, this complicated human machine needs guidance, so GOD sent Prophets to guide them with the INstruction manual.
Time by time, Prophets like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses & Jesus came with their INstruction manuals and guided the humanity to the right path.
Till finally GOD chose Muhammed to complete the mission by sending him with the Quran and choosing as the last and final prophet. Is it not logical rather than GOD becoming a VCR to understand a VCR, becoming a donkey to understand the donkeys??? Rather ignorance.
GOD is ONE no matter what name you call him, BUT it should be a beautiful one with no mental picture or image linked to it. You cant compare GOD to anything inthis world. HE is The Absolute, Neither born, nor has any parents. There can be no image of HIM. HE cant come down to earth and die for human beings sake just to save them from his wrath.
If you see any religious scripture, all state that GOD is ONE. But then still the followers of the respective religions, themselvews dont know that their own scripture speaks of ONE GOD. Then they even ascribe image to GOD and worship HIS 'Idols'.
Giving image to GOD is forbidden not only in Islam, but even Hinduism, Christianity etc. But you still find Idols and images in them. Open the Vedas and you find that The Vedas are strictly against Idol Worship. Open The Bible, it speaks against worshipping Jesus Christ himself.
The Only Religion that has held this principle is Islam. Meaning 'Submitting your Will to ALmighty GOD'.

Its not splitting hairs. God did not die on the cross. His son who was mortal born to a mortal died on the cross for our sins. Jesus was not a god hence the term you have one god, the almighty. I am not splitting hairs I completely understand the question. Everyone has questions and I truly believe that it is ok. I do not think that god expects us to get him or his word perfectly I think that god has given us free will to decide things and along with that comes questions. So do not get upset by having questions or wondering things. Also you will probably get some negative remarks ignore those and look at the ones that give you an answer that you can live with. Everyone is entitled to their feelings.

It started at the beginning when Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge. This allowed us to then be free thinkers and doers.
A gift and a curse. When we started to populate the earth, and at the time of Noah, God tried to interfer with our distruction. But only the rightous believed. God tried to reach us a second time, but our free thinking kept getting us into trouble. The first divine intervention failed to produce good fruit, so to speak, he deside that he would have a pure woman give birth to his son, and therefore be amongst the people to understand their way of thinking, and then at a certain time be called to ministery. A wager was made with saten, that to erase the sin that we partook in the beginning he would have to give his son. Only this would settle the score. He paid for our salvation, all of it, everyone of us. Remember that Saten was cast to the earth, hence being the serpent, and with the first initial sin or betrael of God we where given free will. God loved us so much that he gave his only begotton son to die for our sins, so that we may have ever lasting life. This is called GRACE. The holy spirit is the way that God communicates with us. Thats why the trinity exists, because they are all in the same
Your question is a deep one. God explains in the book of Romans, that he intended for us to live by the Holy Spirit, learn from the Holy Spirit, not by anyones words, or rules, not even the ten commandments but by Gods way of communication. Thats is why Religious politics can be argued so much. You can tell a real christian, when you see the holy spirit in them, it is very noticable. Their kind and accepting of all
they don't have anything to prove, because the Holy Spirit is moving and once you experience it you will always believe, no one can tell you any different. Ask your meaningful questions to God and that he teaches you through the Holy Spirit, so you can feel his presence.
God is a relationship not a religion

By your defenition, you have already chosen to rule out the already presented opinions about Christ and God. But here goes:
The idea of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, was a notion brought about by preachers, and is not specifically mentioned in the Bible, although the separate entities are. God sent his only son here to die for our sins so that we might be forgiven. A sort of sacrifice. As you said, God is all powerful. He could probably kill himself if he wanted to, but he sent his son here in mortal form to die.

God made us in his likeness and image ...the image of God is that he is one God but has three parts..consider yourself...when you look in the mirror..you see 1 person...but it takes 3 parts to make you who you are...body soul and spirit...yet the world sees one of you ...that is the image of God in us...He is also the same way..and in his power and glory allowed the part of him that would come to earth and be placed in a body...why ...because of sin...that's what is wrong with US not just you all men....
since God told Adam from the beginning not to eat a forbidden fruit and Adam disobeyed God there was a penalty...God said the day you eat that fruit you will surely die...and they did..first spiritually...then physically....a trait that has been passed on since the beginning...and why that we know sin exist in us...because we will die...that is absolute...
Now I know you are familiar..with the justice system...everybody is...why because from the first time momma said don't do that or don't touch that and we disobeyed...we got red hands..or whatever justice mom deceided...ok so there is a commandment...don't touch that...there is a breaking of that command...there is a penalty for breaking that command..and that is whatever she decides...but that was deceided when God said man would die...and man died...
Now God has an order so in order to redeem flesh a man has to redeem a man because a payment for sin was and is required....because MAN broke the law not an angel or something else..so it takes a man to redeem a man...but NO man from Adams seed was worthy...like the bible says all have sin...
So God could have been the only one to come...So he came as a man Jesus who was/is God .in the flesh to redeem sinful flesh...this was Gods way..and if he choose to go this route then I think as being his creation..I'm going to respect that..God bless

Wow....this is a mouth finished and a concepts finished. I too am a Pantheist Pagan or maybe however my ideals selection from yours (slightly) i will see the factor you attempt to make. there'll continually be people who say we worship the created and not the author yet whilst the universe replaced into certainly created via the hand (or concepts) of the Divine then it too holds divinity and the appreciation and acknowledgment of that's what Pantheism is (to me). that's no longer worship. that's worry-free reverence. I revere the universe, I appreciate it and understand that i visit never understand or understand each and every thing. We learn, we strengthen and we evolve. this is the character of human beings (as is my know-how human beings). What we do with the certainty we benefit isn't continually friendly and isn't any longer continually interior of clever comprehension. All we are in a place to extremely do is learn from our blunders and do our terrific to no longer repeat the previous. this is my Pantheist reaction. i did no longer intend to circulate away an prolonged one yet i'm unsleeping and fantastically caffeinated this morning so there ya circulate....

To pay a price that I couldn't pay myself. As for the Trinity, think of it has the three personalities of God. The Father, the supreme Ruler. The Son, Jesus, a represention of God's love, and the Holy Spirit, His Spirit on earth to guide and comfort us.

Because He will not break His own rules. When He created the earth, He intended for humans to inhabit it. So for Him to, as you put it, "make the changes Himself", He would be breaking His own rules.
and it's natural that you wouldn't comprehend, you're trying to make Him mortal as you think about it and the carnal mind is emnity to the things of God.
