Because some people write some pretty long answers or do they just look to see how many people respond i my self read all the answers to the question i ask and to the questions i answer.

If I post a question, I will at least read the first few lines of an answer. If it is obvious that it's just hellfire preaching or has nothing to do with the question, I read no further if it's a long post.
I try not to limit a question to any one group. Anyone can answer, and that's fine with me. In fact, I enjoy that aspect, because I learn even more. But - I will address a certain group at times, and I will look for a best answer amongst the people to whom the Q was addressed first.

Honestly or should I lie? I read the short sweet good answers. Not the long complicated ones.

depends on how long the answer is...and if they manage to keep on tract with the particular question without going off on some tangent.
I usually read all answers ~ except for ones that are like novels! lol

It depends on what question they ask. I've come to one question where the person ask just to finish up their limit of questions to be asked.

i do! a person was considerate enough the time to type all that or to search for the answer and post it to you... the least you can do is to read that, wether you agree or not.

I imagine if they get too long, they just skim the message for the gist of what they mean.
