Not at all, cornflour is much finer in its consistency, then cornmeal is. Cornmeal is a granule, and cornflour is a powder.

Take your cornmeal and grind it three or four more times and you will have cornflour

Pretty close, but corn flour (also known as masa, found in the Mexican food section) is more finely ground than meal.
