Only if someone is not taking good care of him or her. Why would anyone even give a dog a Vaseline sandwiches to Begin with anyways? Plane nuts to say it nicely. Got to watch your needles better, or you might lose your dog. Good luck!

Take your dog to the vet! Vaseline, even if it isnt toxic (about which I dont know), might be a suitable solution to help a non-sharp object pass through your dog's system; but certainly NOT a NEEDLE. BTW, bread is NOT good for dogs either.
Help whoever told you to feed your dog Vaseline sandwiches to become smarter, treat them to a lobotomy for their birthday.

I don't think they will help get the needle out, but my vet said to feed these to my dog because of his immense appetite. They are not harmful to the dog, dog's like vaseline and it's good for their skin.

Nothing will help a syringe pass through. He'll need a vet for that one.

Never... If the dog ate a needle, it will die unless it is removed surgically.. A needle CANNOT pass thru their system
