Just wondering what your opinions are?
I recently had a daughter she is 5 and a half months old...We named her Rylee..I have loved the name since I seen it in a baby name book I had when I was pregnant. My question is do you think its going to be to common of a name when she starts school? Like a few years ago everyone was naming their babies Kayla and Serria...I thought it was a kinda unique and not common name but I have noticed more and more people/babies with the name...What do you think?

I don't think it is too common at all. I also think the spelling is fairly unique which will also make her name stand out. I don't think her name will ever reach the epidemic proportions of Ava and Emily, so you don't have a lot to worry about.

I read a lot about baby names last year- everyone it seems is going for the unique names because they seem to help a child in the long run. Along with this trend is that lots of people are changing their given name as an adult. Rylee is very cute and it's what you chose for your angel.
Besides, did you ever notice that when you buy a new car you start noticing all the other cars that are just like it? Same basic concept- you only notice all the other Rylees because of your Rylee. I have a pretty uncommon name and I remember every single person I hear of with that name. don't stress out :)

I love the name rylee......There maybe a another rylee in school when she starts but she is unique in her own way without the name.
Take my name for example (Jessica) it must have been way popular when my mom named me that cause when i did go to school there were 3 other jessica's in my classroom but i was me..you know so i am glad i was named what i was named.
Just because someone has that name dosen't mean your chiild is not unique. Don't think you shouldn't have named her that. You done a good job in naming her and congrats.

I think that Rylee is becoming a popular name. The way you spelled her name may not be popular but the actual name is. I know 3 children with the name Riley, they are under the age of 2. I also have a friend thats pregnant and she is going to name her daughter Rylie.
~Riley was ranked # 53 for 2005: here is the website that I got the info from: http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/

In all honesty do you really care what we think. She is your beautiful, perfect little girl and her name suits her just fine. No matter if she goes to school with seven other children named Rylee she is "your" Rylee. Who she is inside is what makes her unique, not her name. Give her hugs and kisses.

Rylee is not a common name at all. However, name wise, I've always like the name Jaina for a girl.

I think more and more people are thinking that same thing...wanting to name their baby with an uncommon name. I think all the names you mentioned will be more popular in the years to come. There is another name that wasn't so popular before and now it is...Jorden, Kaylee, Precious just to name a few. Now do you really want to know an uncommon name....my mom's neighbors name is Storm and her mom's name is Echo! LOL. I think names eventually become common....what's uncommon is how you spell it!

Ahhh...I wanted to name my daughter Rylee too. I saw it in a baby book spelled "Reilly" and loved it. I would've spelled it the way you have. My husband just wouldn't go for it :o( We chose Amanda (which was my 3rd choice)
