The fact that you're purchasing the car in the US but you live in Canada just raises the risk factors. Because when your lease term would be up, it would be very difficult for the leasing company to recover the vehicle if you didn't turn it in when you were supposed to. There's no legal bar to it, at least in the US. It's up to the leasing company. Most companies do not yet engage in long-term consumer contracts across international borders. It's just too hard to enforce the terms.

You might check with a Canadian leasing company. They might be willing to lease a US sourced vehicle to you.
