Exactly. Says the atheist who just wishes everyone to believe what they want and leave everyone else alone about it. Maybe then we could live happy...maybe.

Religion should be used to direct our lives. The trouble is, many religions today have changed from the ways of their founders. Take the example of the Pharisees in Jesus time. They had twisted the Jewish religion to best suit their own well being, not what God intended it to be. This is where a lot of the hate comes from. The Bible wants us to hate the deed, but love the doer.

Good question and I do believe religion is now more important than ever. It seems that your personal group is the source of comfort and we will defend it at all costs.

I think you are right, actually. "Religion" is unfortunately becoming priority in people's lifes.

I'm a Christian - but I think the word "Religion" is a dirty one!

I much prefer to say Christ is taking over my life.

God Bless.

I agree with Redglory. Don't really consider myself "religious", just a Christ follower.

Humans seem to have a desire to want everybody to agree with them. I think we have all felt like that to some degree.

Religion could be a good thing if it weren't for all of us idiots who screw it up.

Jesus is taking over my life. HE is perfect. We are not.
