A classic example of this is the amazing story of Helen Keller(1880-1968)
From the age of two,Miss Keller was blind, deaf, and without the sense of
smell. After two months of agonizing and fruitless attempts on the part of
her teacher to communicate with this young girl,a miracle occurred. One day Hellen suddenly understood the concept and meaning of running
water! From this umbel foundation Miss Keller built a lofty tower of thought
including the ability to use her voice in speaking. She became educated and articulate human being.Sometime after she had progressed to the point that she could enguage in conversation, she was told of God and his
Love in sending Christ to die on the cross. She is said to respond with joy,
"I always knew He was there, but I didn't know His name"

God walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. I believe He did this to sear their souls with the knowledge that He exists. Just as we all have a sinful nature, we also all know that God exists. If a person has not been told the truth, they have to interpret this understanding in their own way... hence idols and cults and religions that worship all kinds of things.

Even an athiest calls out to God in moments of terror.

I worship one God Say, “he's God, the only. God, to Whom the creatures turn for his or her desires. He begets no longer, nor became He begotten, and there is none like Him.” (Quran, 112:a million-4) no one has the right to be invoked, supplicated, prayed to, or shown any act of worship, yet God on my own. God on my own is the Almighty, the author, the Sovereign, and the Sustainer of each and every thing contained in the total universe. He manages all affairs. He stands in want of none of His creatures, and all His creatures be counted upon Him for all that they want. he's the All-listening to, the All-Seeing, and the All-understanding. In a suitable way, His information encompasses all issues, the open and the secret, and the prevalent public and the own. He is popular with what has surpassed off, what is going to ensue, and how that is going to ensue. No affair takes position contained in the total international except by utilizing His will. in spite of He wills is, and in spite of He does no longer will isn't and is completely not. His will is above the want of each and every of the creatures. He has capacity over all issues, and he's waiting to do each and every thing. he's the most Gracious, the most Merciful, and the most Beneficent. between the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we are advised that God is extra merciful to His creatures than a mom to her new child.a million God is way removed from injustice and tyranny. he's All-sensible in all of His moves and decrees. If someone needs something from God, he or she will be able to ask God straight away without asking all people else to intercede with God for her or him.

No matter where we go in history, the people of that time seem to respect a force greater than themselves. Do not call their thought primitive just because you were born in this time and showered with tons of information that did not exist thousands of years ago. As for a God!! In all of nature, nothing is created that does not support something else. Size does not matter. NOTHING exists in nature that does not support something else in nature. That means, if you take this out, that dies and so forth.
What do humans support? Nature does just fine without humans. Since nature does not create what it does not use/needs, then why are Humans here? Nothing that humans make/create is requireed for any thing/form of life in nature!

I believe the people you are referring to as primitive are people from perhaps third world countries?or Buddhists or Hindus?if Miss Keller had been told another scenario instead of the christian version of a supreme being I imagine she would have understood it just the same only by a different name.

Excellent point :)

Every culture in the world has a concept of the supernatural and the concept of God.

There does appear to be a universal innate belief in God.

Cordially,
