OK, I have a 2nd-3rd degree sun burn (ouch!) and it was killing me, but I lived with and the pain is now down to a minimum, but now I'm peeling and the fact that it's on my back, and therefor harder to reach doesn't help matters. Anyway, I was wondering if there was any way I could get the dry skin off for every day, because it itches a lot, and I really want to know a way to make this go faster at least.... also, I can't reach it, so the itchyness kills me. Once, I had to use a dull sword that I found in my brothers room! :(

I really, really, really know this sounds silly, but heres what you have to do (that I swear will work,

1. Fill a bathtub with water, and Lipton tea mix.
2. Bathe in the solution for thirty minutes at the least.
3. Do not scrath at it! The skin will peal, and will get seriously infected! Good Luck!

LEAVE THAT SKIN ALONE!!! Even though it itches like crazy you should not pick at it. Take a benadryl pill which is over the counter. Take 25 mg or even 50 mg at night to help you sleep and control the itch. Scratching will make things more itchy and could lead to an infection. Good luck. You will be better soon!

Get a loofah on a stick or a long handled soft bristle bath brush. Be gentle, don't scratch too hard. this will get the dead skin off.

2nd degree burns are serious. You should see a doctor for proper treatment.
