yah that is a good question...I really have no Idea...its like what if you were never taught to believe anything...or if you are born and die like 3 seconds later...you could never have believed in anything...I think that God takes anyone who doesnt worship any other Gods...my opinion...

I believe that God is just and He wouldn't let someone die without hearing about Jesus. When I was younger I used to think that it wasn't fair and I am ashamed to say this but, I would almost get 'mad' at God about this. However God let me know that He is just and faithful and he does not want anyone to go to Hell. Even if there are no missionaries in the area I am positive God makes His self and His Son known is some way.

Has anyone ever read Psalm 37?

37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth

37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth: and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.

So, Heaven and Hell are NOT our only choices of life! We have a chance to live forever in a Paradise ON EARTH. Please try to understand your bible and what it really teaches you..... (not just what your preachers are saying)

Read also, Revelation 21: 1-5 - Question.....
Why would God make a new heaven and NEW EARTH, if we were ALL going to ONLY heaven or hell? Think about that..... Honesty.

Now, for those who have not yet learned about God and his wonderful Son, Jesus....... please read Romans 2:5-16, also 2 Thes. 1: 6-9.

If you have any question(s) to my answer please contact me. Hope this helps a bit to a better understanding. Take care,

I've always said god is a compassionate God so if someone did not know the true faith (which ever that may be0 he would not condemn the person. but then again some would argue ignorance is no excuse of the law. but how are we to even possible think we could grasp the way god thinks. just live life the best way you can and try your best. and when you do something wrong you always know it. it that weird bad feeling you get inside avoid those and you should be OK.

Hi Diane M,

What a topical issue you've brought up today! You see, the Bible gave us only two possible eternal destinations - heaven and hell.

In answering your question, the blank truth is that I would have been ignorantly heading straight-on towards the gates of hell as en eternal destination. For the Bible recalls that all have sinned... including myself. But all gory be to God who has made a way of escape for me through faith in Christ Jesus.

Diane, the same applies to you too. Believe in God through faith in Christ Jesus, and you'll reap a harvest of heaven. Failure to do so is a sure-fire way to hell. Make up your mind today... become a Christian on fire for God... and your change will come.

Bye.

You answered your own question. People born in different parts of the world learn their religion from their parents. So it stands to reason that Muslims and Hindus and such would wonder the same thing about people who do not ever hear about their religion. So who is right? Is anyone right?? Think about it, If i grew up in a purely Hindu society i would never even consider christianity the right relgion. Should I go to hell because i picked the wrong religion?

The Bible says that belief in Jesus is the ONLY way to God, so if someone doesn't believe in Jesus, they must go to hell. Doesn't matter if they're babies, the mentally retarded, or people who never heard of Jesus...unless, of course, God makes exceptions for these people. In that case, the Bible lies when it says that Jesus is the ONLY way to God, because then God would be making another way to him that applies to some people and not others.

I believe that if someone in a remote area would become a Christian, God would make a way for them to hear the Good News.

I'd speak to a priest or a pastor or minister to get an informed decision. I have never been baptised, and I was married in a Luthern Church. I'm divorced and now engaged to a wonderful man who is Pentacostal. I believe that as long as you TRY to do good while you're on earth and on this plane, you'll go to Heaven. If you commit murder or commit suicide, you'll definetly go to HELL and join satan and his minons. What you do that is negative, will be 1,000 fold for eternity in HELL.

Well, that's a good question... Its a hard one to answer, but I will try my best.

We know that everybody born has a conscience to tell them what is right and wrong--we know its wrong to take something that's not ours, we know its wrong to kill somebody, we know its wrong to lie... God gave everybody a conscience to tell them what is right and wrong.

God has established himself in three ways: Nature; Jesus Christ; and His Word, The Holy Bible. Now everybody on planet earth has access to one of these three things. People who have the Bible can read of Christ. People who saw Christ were able to hear of Christ. People who see nature, Know that there was a higher being that created it. You see, a person in the remotest jungle of south America will not have been brainwashed by the utterly foolish idea of evolution. Therefore, He will know that somebody created it. Well, who created it? There religion teaches that some myth created it. Well, I believe that God will talk to that persons heart... I believe that God will make himself known to that native. Remember! God is out there... And he is not going to send somebody to Hell without even knowing that their is a true God. Remember the thief on the cross? All he had to say was "Lord, remember me when you go to paradise". Jesus' reply was that he would remember him. That was all it took... That is all that that person will need to acknowledge.

What did Our Lord Jesus Christ say to the scribes and Pharisees when they would ask Him questions. He said, HAVEN'T YOU READ. He was speaking of the Word, and that's is where your answer lies.
Here is a clue for you to look up. When Jesus Christ was being crucified on the cross between two malcontents, one of them, on His right, one on His left, (for you to find out) repented and spoke these words. Remember me when You come into Your Glory. (paraphrased) Jesus answered him by saying, THIS DAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE. Always remember that where ever God is, THAT'S HEAVEN.
