The Bible does not contain the word Trinity. However, the Holy Trinity is hinted at repeatedly in both the Old and New Testaments.

The early Christians prayed and struggled over these hints for a couple of centuries. The concept of the Holy Trinity (three persons in one God) was mainstream Christianity in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea and our belief is expressed in the Nicene Creed from that council:

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him, all things were made. For us and our salvation, He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day, He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son, He is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

With love in Christ.

Although many churches teach the 3 in one God theory People around the world have heard something about Jesus Christ, even though he lived 2,000 years ago. Yet many are confused about who Jesus really was. Some say that he was merely a good man. Others claim that he was nothing more than a prophet. Still others believe that Jesus is God and should be worshiped. Should he?
It is important to know the truth about Jesus, because the Bible says: This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you , the only true God, and of the one you sent forth, Jesus Christ."(John 17:3) Yes knowing the truth about Jehovah God ,and about Jesus Christ, can lead to everlasting life on paradise earth.(John14:6) Furthermore, Jesus sets the best example of how to live and treat others(John13:34,35) Jesus is Jehovah's most precious Son-and for good reason. He is called the firstborn of all creation(Collossians1:15). There is something else that makes this Son special. He is the only-begotten Son."(Colossians1:16)This means that Jesus is the only one directly created by JehovahGod. Jesus is also the only one whom God used when he created all other things(Colossians1:16) Then too, Jesus is called the Word,"(1John 1:14) This tells us that he spoke for God,no doubt delivering messages and instructions to the Father's other Sons, both spirit abd human.
The first born Son equal to God, as some believe? That is not what the Bible teaches. As noted earlier, the Son was created. Obviously, then,Jesus had a beginning, whereas God has no beginning or end. (Psalm 90:2) The only-begotteen Son nevereven considered trying to be equal to his Father. The Bible clearly teaches that the Father is greater than the

You speak of the Holy Trinity - three manifestations of the same Being sharing one Divine Nature.

How the Trinity can be is a mystery to us. Our feeble human minds do not have the capacity to understand the mechanics that make the Holy Trinity what it is.

The best we can do is found in the Nicene Creed. First we have God the Father. Simple enough, right?

Then we have Jesus the Christ who is begotten, not made, from the Father. It is important to understand the difference between 'begotten' and 'made'. If Jesus was 'made', he would possess his own nature, thus proving his Divinity false and the Holy Trinity a sham. Truth is, Jesus was begotten. When something is begotten, it shares the same nature from what it was begotten from. Since the God the Father and Jesus the Christ share the same Divine Nature, they are two manifestations of the same being.

Now comes the Holy Spirit; who proceeds from the Father and the Son. If the Holy Spirit proceeded from one and not the other, that would indicate a difference in their nature, and the Holy Spirit would only possess the nature of the one being it proceeded from, again proving the Trinity a sham. But since the Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son, it proves two things: 1) that God the Father and Jesus the Christ have the same Divine Nature. If they didn't, the Spirit would not have proceeded from both. 2) It also proves that, since the Holy Spirit is a Being proceeding from two other beings with a common Divine Nature, it also means that the Holy Spirit possesses that same nature as well, thus completing the Trinity.

Still, because we can't fully comprehend the Trinity, it can be somewhat confusing. What it comes down to it that it is an article of Faith. And God is asking you to accept the Holy Trinity as Divine Truth.

Well, from Christ's perspective his Father was God[period]. But Roman Catholic worshippers are not exactly the same as Jesus. They believe in Jesus' truth to give them God so it's the only reason they know about the Father, and they is only ordinary people so his truth is something to worship just about as much as the Father (almost the same thing)... and the Holy Spirit is the way that the relationship between Jesus and the Father is so perfect that it never die... so the Son (the message), the Holy Spirit (The Truth), and the Father, are all things than can be worshipped for they are awesome external things for an average person...1

They are part of what we know as the Trinity, the Godhead, 3 in 1; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are 3 seperate beings all doing one thing, looking out for us. Think of it like this. For a bill to become a law it has to go before 3 offices or houses. It goes before the Senate, then it goes on to the House of Representatives, from there it goes before the president. Now, for it to become a law it has to get atleast 2 out of three votes. Anyone of them can veto the bill but it has to get atleast 2 votes. All 3 are working for one thing, the passing of a law.

It's the same way with the Trinity, 3 individual beings working for one thing, the only difference being that they all work together, none of this 2 out of 3 votes. Either they all agree or they don't.

The bible says that there are things we may never know, things we don't need to know. That is where our faith comes in. There are things that parents don't tell their kids. A simple NO is all that a child needs to know. Parents already went through the same things their kids went through so they have an idea of what the outcome might be. It's the same way with God. He knows what's going to happen even before it happens. He can see the dangers we can't. Well, I know this got a little long but I hope it helps.

The Catholic Church--as well as Christianity as a whole--only worships the One True God.

The Trinity is not 3 gods. The Trinity Is Only One God in 3 Divine Persons.

No they don't have 3 gods. The Father God, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are all one. They are called the Trinity. Are you a practicing Catholic? This is a basic part of Christianity and Catholicism. Read the New Testament. May your curiosity bring the answers you seek.

Why does GOD need to reincarnate himself???

Some say to understand the problems of humanity...
Wow the CREATOR does not know about his creation?

Do the Guys at Intel become some sort of a Chip to understand whats wrong with the silicon chips???

The philosophy of re-incarnation is all nonsense, You dont have to become a Computer for understanding the Computer, you can really be your normal self and just write the instruction manual, moreover if the machine is too coplicated you send an engineer with the manual.

Similarly, this complicated human machine needs guidance, so GOD sent Prophets to guide them with the INstruction manual.
Time by time, Prophets like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses & Jesus came with their INstruction manuals and guided the humanity to the right path.

Till finally GOD chose Muhammed to complete the mission by sending him with the Quran and choosing as the last and final prophet. Is it not logical rather than GOD becoming a VCR to understand a VCR, becoming a donkey to understand the donkeys??? Rather ignorance.

GOD is ONE no matter what name you call him, BUT it should be a beautiful one with no mental picture or image linked to it. You cant compare GOD to anything inthis world. HE is The Absolute, Neither born, nor has any parents. There can be no image of HIM.

If you see any religious scripture, all state that GOD is ONE. But then still the followers of the respective religions, themselvews dont know that their own scripture speaks of ONE GOD. Then they even ascribe image to GOD and worship HIS 'Idols'.

Giving image to GOD is forbidden not only in Islam, but even Hinduism, Christianity etc. But you still find Idols and images in them. Open the Vedas and you find that The Vedas are strictly against Idol Worship. Open The Bible, it speaks against worshipping Jesus Christ himself.

The Only Religion that has held this principle is Islam. Meaning 'Submitting your Will to ALmighty GOD'.

This is a common objection to make. However, Trinitarianism is not the belief in three gods, but the belief in a God that consists of three persons that share the same substance, their hypostasis. The Trinity is not just something that the church made up; it is rooted within the roots of ancient Jewish Wisdom theology, which saw that the Word (OT "Wisdom"/NT Jesus) as an extension of God that existed as God but was functionally subservient to God. Representations of the Word/Wisdom/the Logos is found in the Book of Proverbs, chapter 8, the Deuterocanonical books and Apocrypha, the writings of Philo, and the Gospel of John. Referring to the power and role of God's spoken Word, Richard N. Longnecker said, "Judaism understood God's Word to have almost autonomous powers and substance once spoken; to be, in fact, 'a concrete reality, a veritable cause.'" (Richard N. Longenecker, The Christology of Early Jewish Christianity , 145.). Now, I hope that that clears up most of the problem, but for more see here: http://www.tektonics.org/jesusclaims/trinitydefense.html
