Start visiting different ones & God will let you know when youve found a home. Just make sure they believe Christ sacrifice is the only salvation from our sins.

I'm a member of the church of Christ (I'm not a Mormon - that's church of christ of latter-day saints) and after looking at several churches out there it is the only one I could find that truly followed the Bible - only. There are lots of great people in other really nice churches but when I visited other places most of them do things or added something to the Bible that wasn't really there like believing in purgatory or infant baptism. And some places even take things out of the Bible or don't do things that are in there like when they don't practice adult baptism or don't take the Lord's supper each first day of the week. I'd suggest visiting a local church of Christ if you get the chance - we really follow the Bible! :) A great book you could use to look up the differences between several churches and compare them to what the Bible says is "Traditions of Man Versus the Word of God" by, Alvin Jennings - and it only costs $.99 (cents) at Amazon.com!

i am not saying that you should not believe in the bible, but you should trust your instincts and able to know what is right from wrong while adjusting to the new society. do not be too bookish, some bible believers consider it a sin when we are only doing our best to have a better life that could make us better christians.

Small or big? Depends on your preference. I've been to both. I like small better, there is more of a sense of community and people come together to help one another.
