My mom used to scare me too. She used to yell and scream and start drama between me and my bro & sis all the time. She also used to beat the heck out of me. I got her to stop beating me by beating her back (don't neccessarily recommend this for other ppl). She still does the whole yelling and drama/trouble making stuff, but we put up with her because my dad is ill. From what I have read on the net ppl who act like this have a mental illness. Borderline personality I think it is called. Maybe you could read up on this and get some pointers from other ppl going thru or have gone thru same stuff? It sucks putting up with this kind of junk when u are still a kid (still sucks when u are older but it is easier to get away from). Just remember that all the mean and angry stuff is not a real reflection on who you are. Keep on doing what you need to do to have a good life for yourself and be strong. Good luck to you. I hope things get better.

If your home life is a scary or dangerous place to be, you have a few options.
1.) find another place to live (dad, grandma, etc.)
2.) report your caregivers to the authorities (in this case, they will find you alternate housing).
There may be more choices available to you. Maybe there is a school for girls in your area that is residential that takes girls from troubled environments. In any case, you need to make some decisions, and most importantly, get and stay safe. Blessings to you.

No child should ever be afraid of their parents, ever. If your mom is scaring you in a way you fear for your own safety or emotional well being, you need to contact someone. Whether it's the police or a crisis line.
I'm not sure what your situation is, but you can call 1-800-4-A-CHILD if your situation is a domestic abuse issue. If it's not, check this link out to see if it helps. Good luck and if you need to talk, contact me. Good luck to you.

It's hard to answer without more information. If you feel you are in danger or your mom is putting herself in danger, please call 911. If you're afraid for a different reason, such as you don't understand why she's making certain decisions or something that is not life or health threatening, then you can try to call or locate a mentor or counselor to talk to. Without more info, I'm not really sure what else to tell you.

I know all about those jokesters.....if that's what you mean.... My hubbies mom is like that. If you have bi-fold doors for a closet that she uses, put a play snake up on it. When she opens it, the snake will fall and sweet revenge.lol Get a woo-pi cushion, put play bugs in her sleeve of her coat, sweater.... There's alot of things you can do to get her back!

If you are in fear for your life, then you need to contact the proper authorities to get away from your mother. The only time my children were afraid of me was when I lost my temper, this was due to their misbehavior. I assume you are young, now ask yourself what have you done to cause your mother's reaction.I hope everything works out.

well--whatever seems to work for her--sounds like she's got your attention anyway and that can't be all bad
If it's an abuse thing you always have the authorities to turn to--don't be turning to people on the web--you'll be treading on scorpions
