Depends on where you live. Some countries and ethic places think that some bugs are a delicacy. Many are high in protein hell fish eat them all the time and many mammals as well. So Bon Appetite

dip them in chocolate first.. let them dry out. It takes the bitter taste away and retains the crunch factor.. sweet critters are easier on the palate.
Grasshoppers are high in protein.. but personally, I prefer real food.. and save the bug eating for prime time TV fools.. 'survivor' and the other competition shows..
I say dig in if you want.. no harm in it.. but stay away from the ones that may be poisonous.. spiders.. ick .. some frogs.. I dunno.. come to my backyard.. I have too many critters!

Fry them up in a bit of butter, or bake them with your favorite spices!
Just for jollys why not put some cream sauce over them!
Sounds like a decent type of meal to me, lots of protein, and gunk!
And for heavens' sake, eat at the table, and chew with your mouth closed!

Just as long as the bugs aren't crawling out of your dog's poop. Then you will get worms.
