Okay, I will try to explain my point of view as precisely and concisely as I possibly can. I hope I don't confuse anyone.

God gave mankind a gift called "Dominion". This thing called dominion gave man power/ authority over all the earth but mankind gave this power over to the devil when they ate the forbidden fruit.
When Adam and Eve sinned, they fell from the good grace of God and ended up under the power of death. And being under the power of death means they did not have power/ authority (dominion) any more, so began Mankind under the power of death which was controlled by the devil.... Being that God gave this power to man as a gift, only man could give it back to God, which is why Christ had to come (in the flesh as mankind) to retreive us and take back the keys of death (dominion/power/authority) from the devil so that Satan could not hold Gods people under the curse of death or to the grave any longer or that holding place for the souls of God's people.

When Christ was being crucified on the cross, he told one of the two others being crucified with him that he would be in paradise with him (Christ) from that day forward. But in Luke 16:19-31 before the crucifiction, Jesus told the story of the rich man and a beggar and when both died, the rich man went to hell and the poor man went to the bossom of Abraham (not paradise).

My point is this, when ever anyone died, they were immediately judged, but those that belonged to God did not go to paradise/heaven immediately but they went with Father Abraham but when Christ is being crucified, he says that that one man will go to paradise with him from that day forward. This clearly shows a change in where we will now go when we die as Gods people. Christ now opens the door to heaven/paradise and returns the gift of dominion to God.
The other thing is, Adam knew this but did it willfully and God was angry with Adam for doing this.....
1Tim. 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Adam knew.

Sin is sin. The bible tells us that God sees all sin as bad. There are no white lies and no black lies. No grey sin; no black sin; no white sin. Sin is sin. No matter the degree of the crime. When Adam disobeyed God, he took God off the throne of his heart and put 'self' there. Self was going to rule his life--he would do what he wanted to do. After the fruit Ordeal, Adam had not only disobeyed a direct commandment of God, (which alone was enough to be thrown out of the garden), but he also lied, chose Satan over God, blamed the woman for his sin, Hid from God, covered his sin, and I am sure there is lots more that I have forgotten.

Anyways, because God is a Holy and Just God, he had to punish Adam and eve for their sin--and he did.

Before God made the woman out of the side of the man, God had the man observe the animals. When the woman was made, He told them to reproduce and multiply. She is His helper. They didn't get around to it until after they ate the forbidden fruit. I think since they delayed in this, they ended up eating the forbidden fruit first.

They procrastinated and went for what God told them not to do. This led to the sin nature being passed down to all mankind.

Adam (peace be upon him) did not do any sin at all.
The event we normally talk about was the demonstration to the forth coming human beings that how 'Satan' may do everything to misguide you. That was the wisdom of Allah the Almighty.
Otherwise how can Satan enter the paradise when we all know that Adam (peace be upon him) wa in the paradise adn Satan is strictly prohibited to enter there. That was just to show the human beings how worst the Satan is your enemy.
Adam (peace be upon him) was the messanger of Allah the Almighty and all messengers are innocents and free from all misdeeds.

religion is personal to you, i am athiest and would like to share this. Your god is yours, however i dont believe in one and i would like to suggest that people will stop pushing their religion on athiests and agnotstics, and i am also tired of people calling me a demon or a demon worshiper, that is not atheism and i would like to tell all of you the truth of the meanings of atheism, agnosticism, satanism, and gothic religions... atheism: disbelief in the existance of God/Gods, agnosticism: The belief that there can be no proof either that God exists or that God does not exist, satanism: The worship of Satan characterized by a travesty of the Christian rites, and gothic: A style of rock music that often evokes bleak, lugubrious imagery. so in conclusion athiests and agnostics are not the same as satanism.
