The word made implies a manufacturing process, which is not the case with meat. It is grown. As in we raise a cow to the proper weight, take it to the butcher for processing. The butcher kills the cow and cuts up the yummy parts and packages it for our consumption. Then we take it home and put it on the grill, in the smoker or just in the oven. Time for yummy dinner. I like mine rare. With roasted potatoes on the side.
PETA=People Eating Tasty Animals. Yum Yum Yum!!!

I hope you are not squeamish about where the food comes from, if so then just eat beans and bark and twigs and be full of gas like a good vegan.

Or if you like I could talk about how to kill and clean and cook a chicken. My dear sweet departed grandmother taught me how to wring a chicken's neck.

We also used to raise rabbits for meat. Really good, very lean, all white meat. Fries up just like chicken.

Or we could get into the proper way to kill and butcher a hog.

Time for everyone to get a grip on reality. Meat does not begin it's journey by magically appearing in the meat counter at the grocery store. Everything costs something.

an animal is butchered

and the animal's muscle is the part that we know of as meat. It gets grinded up and pressed together

thats why so many people are vegetarians ^_^

Meat comes from animals. It isn't "made" it is butchered, and packaged.
